Why Active Dawg?

We started Active Dawg after our rescue dog, Sophie suffered heat stroke and a few months later while playing with her dog pals, "popped" her back knee.

These 'experiences' and the resulting $1,000+ vet bills said there had to be a better way.

Knowing that our own nutrition drove the quality of our lives, eliminated and prevented various diseases we began investigating what we could add to her diet that would help with both joint health, prevent dehydration, prevent the occasional bouts of soft stools and diarrhea and help her coat and skin.

That led us to slow cooking for over 24 hours organic chicken bones and grinding peanuts. Sophie loved her new treats and we saw an immediate difference in her ability to run and pivot with her fur buddy friends.

No additives are added to the broth and we only use organic bones to ensure that your dog receives the best nutrition possible.

The broth is then dehydrated and run through a blender to ensure a consistent powder that has a long shelf life, can be easy to transport and travel with and ensures a consistent flavor and nutrients.
