Not sure my post the other day on my primary page went thru here but we lost our Fredrick Von Jasper on Dec 1st.
He waited till I got home after a long day out and I went in to kiss him and tell him I missed and love him and held his paw when he took a deep breathe and passed with me there.
My heart is broken but I know he’s no longer suffering from the effects the cancer was having on his sweet little frail body.
He had stopped eating and walking just 24 hours before and I knew he was close and had been praying to the lord to make this a peaceful transition.
It was and I’m grateful for that but miss him so much.
His Barkday is Dec 2 so he passed one day before and he’s furever 9 but I’m gonna say he’s furever 10. He was there.
I feel like his spirit is here and think I saw him but I have closed my eyes and can see him jumping around barking at me like he’s telling me he’s ok now.
We rescued him for Lancaster Shelter, he was sick and after multiple test we found the cancer and he was a carrier of adenovirus and contagious. He had to live separated from everyone and we had a Routine down of cleaning after being with him. Everyone did get sick at some point and it was a lot but we working thru it.
He got to spend so much time with his momma who would camp out in there with him daily. He would nap, eat, potty and we would cater to his needs. Meds stopped working months ago so he was just getting lots of love, baby food and non rawhide bones and his favorite blanket.
Fred loved us and gave it a good fight with a wagging tail and a smile on his face. And his wonky ears.
We love and will miss you my sweet boy, we kept our promise to you Fred, and I’ll see you at Rainbow Bridge when my day comes. Till then please watch over us and tell Scooter, Scooby, Charlie, Pixie and Mickey hello from all of us.

The krew have been very helpful helping daddy pack up our stuff.
Now we wait for our dad to gib us some cookies for helping.
Except for Hannah, she was naughty and tried to escape over the barriers and dad’s work area to the open front door. Sheesh!

Hello Friends, Family & Fans.
We have an Urgent situation going on.
We are doing a fundraiser to help us Save Jasper’s Dachshund Sanctuary & Rescue Services home base.
After 16 years renting at our home we have less than 60 Days now to relocate the years of our home and our safety and security for all our fur babies living in the Sanctuary.
The owner said we were great tenants all these years but his son needs a place to live and get his life together.

We have funds but not what it takes to find a place to call our own, with no rental overhead, so these babies can all be safe and secure without worry.

So this fundraiser is to help us meet this challenge head on and do everything possible to not be faced with living homeless with all the doxies and the krew.

We just got home a little bit ago from Jasper vet in LA.
The worse freeway experience ever.
Stuck for hours, then a semi flung a piece of pressboard at the truck and we smashed it, scratching the front and side of the truck and almost had to play car tag on the way home from someone with lights off cutting in and out of traffic, driving on the shoulder and locking up their brakes. Idiots!

Anyhow, Jasper does not have Cancer. Good news today after the ct scan. He’s got a hernia like mass behind his lung. No recommendatiks to do anything. Expensive day! Very expensive but grateful our baby boy is ok.
He still has the unknown mass in his throat, most likely from old age, it should go away or go down in time since we’re already taking antibiotics for something else.
We’re home Safe and that’s all that matters. He’s sound asleep.

Tomorrow’s a big day. Early morning drive to LA for Jaspers CT scan.
They said he’s good to go even tho he has the UTI. Which is pretty cleared up now with his antibiotics.
We gotta fast the whole day so I’m gonna fast with him and be right there so he’s not alone.
Ya can bet I won’t leave his side, I don’t care if the vets like it or not. He’s my world.

A quick thank you to Scouts Family Journey "The little Dachshund on Wheels" , Matt’s Tina, Taven, PJ, Gilly and Cindy Lou who, we lub you, for the pawsom Halloween toys, and a couple Barkday toys were saving for an upcoming Barkday, love y’all lots and thank you.
These weens got spoiled for halloweenie time!
By the grace of god these toys keep Jasper focused and happy so we can battle right thru his health issues. And he does believe they are ALL for him. lol. Hannah love the little skulls and Hope has taken two of them back to bed with her.

Here we go again.
Jaspers having an allergic reaction to the new medication Atopica.
Only on it two days. Face swelled and feet. Bad cough.
At da dogtor to get him ok!
I swear he does this knowing he’s going for a ride and I’ll take him out and spoil him. Fine by me. I was going to anyhow. Lol.

Sweethearts Day out n about. Took my girl to get chipped. She slaresdy has one so I’m gonna fix that.
Then we hit up PetSmart for whatever she wanted. Thanks to friends who have sent gift cards over the years the whole krew got some cool stuff.

Sweetheart got a new collar and cool heart tag too.
She had fun.

Hurry up dad and cut that Turkey already. We hungry! Our tummy’s are rumbly!
Spoiled rotten little weens! They get a great cut Turkey every day or so. Primary protein in their food. They love it. It’s like doggy crack around here. And Teddy Honey Grahams!
It’s worth it. They love it. My kids have waggin tails, smiles and full Tummy’s.

Never a dull Moment around here.
Got 7 doxies nails and some glands done. And the long hair hippie got a trim. Some weren’t so happy bout that. But when it came time for rewards no one complained and the extra lunch was nom nom!

Happy Barkday to my boys.
Today Is George Coopers 11th Barkday.
Also yesterday was Yogis Gotcha day so we’re rolling with that for his day making him 6 years old now.
It’s been a little ruff as we’re taking care of Fred right now and not able to celebrate so we will do up a super doxie party here soon.
George is my snuggle Buddy for life and Yogi is a long haired hippie mommas boy. Lol.
Please give my boys a shout out for their special days tho.

ATTENTION DOXIE COMMUNITY!

There is a Doxie named Maggie at North Valley Vet Clinic that needs our help.
She was attacked by another dog she lives with.
The cost of surgery on the high end is $2700/ low end $2100.
They need at least $1000 to do the surgery.
They have an emergency doctor on staff right now.
The family was only able to pay $630.

Can we get everyone together and call the vet clinic and donate for this doxie girl. She’s only 1 y 6 months old.

Jaspers doing much better today. Meds are working, prayers are working and he’s back to his puppy self. The King of da Krew is ruling the castle once again.
