The Marco x Cythera puppies are growing so fast! Here they are at 4 weeks, when IMO they really begin to be entertaining. They’re super fun to both interact with and just sit back and watch as they interact with each other and their environment. 🥰 🏴‍☠️

We are pleased to welcome our newest litter, out of “Marco” GCHS CH Allegiance Fish Out Of Water With Marinella x “Cythera” GCHB CH Seaworthy’s Last Bounty At Pirate’s Cove CGC, born nearly three weeks ago on November 6th. We’re very excited about these six girls and three boys and are very much looking forward to the next several weeks as we watch them grow and help them develop. Thank you Amy Lane for letting us use your handsome boy! Both parents are fully health tested in accordance with the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America.

We’re thrilled to announce that Pirate’s Cove has a new Champion! CH Pirate’s Cove I Look Real Good Today aka “Benjamin” (Hank x Cythera) finished in style with a Best of Breed followed by a Group 3! Thank you to Amy Rutherford and the Aimhi Team for helping Ben look his best. And thanks to Breed Judge Mr. Javinder Singh Pawar and Group Judge Mr. Ken Murray.
Benjamin is owned and loved by Cheri Ross, Tim Lenoir and Jolene Simons.

It’s been a busy week. The pups are up on their feet and doing their best not to look like a bunch of drunken sailors. As you can see, they’re learning to use their potty pads and they are getting pretty good about leaving their sleeping area to relieve themselves. Momma, Cythera, is needing more “me time”, so the puppy cleanup is more and more falling on our shoulders. We’re beginning to feel the weight of what 12 puppies will be like - and this week they’ll be starting on solid foods. Oh, joy! We’ve also increased the size of the puppy pen outside of just the whelping area. Let the fun begin!

Their eyes are beginning to open! While they’re still nearly always sleeping - except when they’re eating and even then they’re often doing both at the same time - you can occasionally see their eyes are  starting to open. 🥰🏴‍☠️

They’re here! All twelve of them! Born Tuesday October 18th. Mom and pups are doing great. Six boys, six girls. Puppies are out of “Hank” GCH CH BISS C-Lion Hey, Good Lookin’! SCN SIN x “Cythera” GCHB CH Seaworthy’s Last Bounty At Pirate’s Cove CGC. This is a repeat breeding and the health info for Sire and Dam is listed on the PWDCA HLL database.
