The best girls 🤍🤍
We are having a good start to calving season! Here are a few of my favorite snapshots so far. It has been rainy & cold which we can usually avoid this time of year but we are thankful for the rain either way! All of our calves have been born out on pasture & seem to be thriving. 🤍🤩
Checking out the sheep! They are loving this weather & starting to lose some of their winter hair 🤩🤩🥰
Formerly known as Hickory here at the ranch, Brick is growing into such a nice boy. He is a Sister x Buzzy pup. Very impressive for his first show. We are proud of this boy & thankful that his new momma is putting in the effort & time to get him out into the show world.
Maple Grove Mini Aussies raises some very nice quality pups & I think she has a few available. Reach out to her if you’re looking for another fur baby or show prospect!
This year is our first year trying out bale grazing. There’s definitely a few things we would do differently next time but all in all, it’s been super successful in our minds. Meeting the needs of the cows while saving in some feed at the same time! A huge bonus is the fuel we have saved from not starting our tractors every morning in the cold winter months! Every 2 weeks we use the skid steer to set out bales & that’s that.
The cows love feeling like they have an “all you can eat” buffet too 🤣🤣
Breakfast time!! 🤩🤩
Chris CREEK ranch!! The dogs had so much fun today! I can’t believe it’s only March. This creek runs right out by our front yard & although it’s a seasonal creek, we all LOVE when it’s flowing! 🥰🤩
Triple Trouble 🤣 I’m not sure how I convinced my husband to let me keep TWO Bunny babies but I’m so glad I did! They are little hooligans but such fun & smart puppies 🥰🥰
Calves were feeling fresh with this bit of nice weather we have! 🤣🤩🤩
Ok fine, I’ll keep this one too 🤣🥰🥰🥰
Me before my morning coffee 🤣🤣🤣
This first time momma wasn’t sure about BOTH of her babies. She liked one but that was enough for her 😅 luckily, after just few days of us keeping her in a small area with them & holding her to let the other baby nurse, she finally gave in & decided that she would in fact mother both of her babies! This is a huge win in our book as it’s SO much easier to just have the mommas do the lamb raising & the babies do so much better this way too.
She really is a great mom, just was a little confused for her first time, not to mention she had them in a February rain storm unexpectedly so the first few moments might not have been perfect for the lamb to ewe bonding.
The picture was taken in our heated barn, the lambs wear their cute little sweaters not really to keep warm in this case but so that they smell similar. After a day of the sweaters, we switch them so the lamb that she didn’t like was wearing the sweater of the lamb that she did like. That worked wonderfully & now we have two happy lambs & one happy momma! 🐑🐑🐑🥰🥰
Double trouble 😅😅😅 no but seriously these pups are just the best. Wild, playful, rambunctious, smart, & lovable.
Badger, the stinker on the left, is looking for a new home still! Or possibly a guardian home since I might have trouble actually parting ways with him 🤣 guardian homes are a pretty cool opportunity for those of you that are somewhat local & may want a pup but not all the expenses that come along with it. Send me a message to learn more about Badger!
He is 12 weeks old & doing amazing with crate & potty training.
Well, we weren’t supposed to lamb until May 🤣🤣 I guess these few “open ewes” have a different idea.
We were on our way in from evening chores when I looked out in the pasture & saw our livestock guardian dog running back & forth SO excited about something. Then we heard a sheep yell & it sounded awful young! We raced out there & found two healthy lambs that are now tucked safely in our warm barn with their momma 🥰🥰
Very thankful we heard them & got to them almost immediately after being born!
We are having some GORGEOUS weather!! Feels like Spring already 🤩🤩 the pups & I enjoyed it for a bit on our walk! 🐾
Potty train & crate train 3 puppies at the same time?! Why not? 🤣🤣 these pups are definitely a handful but they are so much fun & doing SO well. Everyone sleeps through the night with no accidents & we are even getting through most days without accidents. Usually if they do have an accident it’s because I got sidetracked & didn’t take them potty in time! These pups will be SO easy to bring into their new homes. The only one available is the male blue heeler pup.
Thanks everyone for all the awesome name ideas!! We are going with Ren/Wren, short for renegade 🤣🤣 but also could fit the animal theme we’ve had going on with our heelers! we think this fits her personality pretty well! 🥰🥰
Ok guys, we need HELP!! Name suggestions welcome!!
We are keeping this little renegade & we don’t want to keep the name Mink lol but we are having trouble coming up with something else! She’s very much a heeler & her favorite things are biting & playing rough. Please comment some name ideas!
Handsome Oak met his new family this morning 🥰🐾
& now we have only one left!! Oak is a handsome lovable boy from our Sister x Buzzy litter. This is our last litter of mini Aussies so don’t miss out on this guy! He’s got an amazing start to crate & potty training. No accidents & sleeps from 10:30pm to 7 am in his crate. He is a joyful, snuggly guy. 💲 has been GREATLY reduced to find him his forever home soon. Should mature around 30-35lbs.
Microchipped, fully vaccinated including rabies, & AKC registrable (pet home only).
Popple has been reserved 🥰🐾
Morning shenanigans 🤣🤣 Bunny is such a fun dog & nice to every puppy.
All the puppies did wonderful with no accidents in their crates last night from 10:30 pm to 7am!!
Popple & Oak, the Aussies, are available at an extremely good deal.
Willow joined her new family today!🥰

Squirrel made her way all the way to Kentucky today!! We think her & her new momma look like the perfect team 🥰🐾🐿️
Please Share!!
Cup, the milk cow, says “Hey, guys listen up!!” We have an idea/question!
We are currently tossing around the idea of having another Bunny (Australian Cattle dog) litter. This litter would be a SPRING (May/Juneish take home time) litter which is SOOOO much nicer than winter for many reasons 😅 we love the pups from her current litter so much so it’s very tempting to have more. We would likely cross her on a different stud (recommendations welcome, I will be picky!)
I’d love to know how much interest I would have in this litter before I commit to making it happen so please send me a message or comment if you’ve thought about bringing an ACD pup home!
*we do have one male pup, Badger, left from Bunny’s current litter. When we finally get some decent temps here I plan to stock test him again & hopefully get new pictures so he will formally be posted as available soon!! Message me with any questions please.
Puma, now called Loretta, with her new momma 💞

Moose & Puma are just so much fun!! 🥰 they leave for their forever homes tomorrow! We will miss these babies.
Big Moose did such a great job today. All the puppies had their first look at stock today & I was very impressed with them all. Each of them showed interest immediately, some of them stayed with it longer than others but by next week that could all be different! I can’t wait to watch them as they gain some confidence & drive. I know I’m dressed like it’s -30 degrees 🤣 it really wasn’t that cold but I’m a wimp!! The puppies didn’t seem to mind. So my main job for stock testing is “helping” the puppies move the stock, watching their natural instincts, & protecting the puppies from getting into a situation that could hurt their little bodies or their confidence this early on. I won’t be posting all of the videos but I have sent them to everyone on my waitlist privately! I might have ONE puppy available after they are all matched with people on my waitlist so feel free to reach out if you’re interested.
Bunny is a COOL mom. She loves rough housing with her babies & they usually think it’s pretty fun too 🤣 Our first stock testing session with these pups will be done tomorrow. I’m not “training” them on sheep already but simply giving them a look at the sheep so I can get a little idea of each pups style & drive. I’ll do more stock tests at 8 weeks & beyond if some pups are still here by then because they do change & develop each week so often times I can see things in a pup that I didn’t see the first day of stock testing. I won’t be posting videos of each puppies first look at stock but I will be sending those privately to the people on my waitlist! I might post a video or two publicly as well though, we will see! Stay tuned!! 🤍🐾🐾🐾
✨New Years Special!!✨ Now through January 3rd! Sister is such a fun mom!! 🤣🥰🥰 Her pups couldn’t keep up with her!! It’s a complete skating rink here 🤣 6 of these babies are looking for their forever homes. They are ready to go now & we’d love to chat with you about them! I will be getting updated pictures of the available pups soon. Send me a message to learn more about the special! I have LOTS of delivery options as well. Southern MN, ND, SD, NE, WY, CO, & possibly more!
Playtime!! These little velociraptors will be 5 weeks old tomorrow!! I can’t wait to show these babies some sheep & get an idea of everyone’s drive!! 🤩🤩🤩
The Mini American/Mini Aussie pups had their vet check today!! & of course it was bitter cold outside so we had to do playtime inside 🤣 pure CHAOS!! Everyone checked out happy & healthy! Spruce, one of the red tri boys does have a slight underbite. Purely cosmetic & will not affect his health at all. I knew it but wanted vet to confirm! He is discounted to reflect the imperfection. I did manage to get puppy pictures of everyone today too!! Those will be posted this evening/tomorrow. Very very thankful to my wonderful helper, Lily! I couldn’t get it all done without her.
