I can never seem to time my overnight feeds properly and always end up feeding at sunrise 😩 the boys aren’t shy about asking for breakfast while Adeline waits patiently ❤️

We also took in a Mum and bubs from the shelter. Kitten season has exploded over here, and it doesn’t help that spay/neuter is considered “non-essential” so most vets aren’t doing it at the moment 😩😩

Jasper aka Carlos update! He’s now 18 weeks old and recovering well from his hip surgery. His favorite thing is going for walkies ❤️

A couple of nights ago I got a late night call to pick up this 2 week old girl from the shelter, and man does she have a set of lungs on her!!
Still trying to think of a name that suits her attitude...

Adeline was so easy to bottle feed that I decided to take on 4 boys in need the same age as her....oh boy have they been difficult! From suckling on each other to constant diarrhea and multiple vet trips. They’re really testing my willpower 😩 but it’s worth it because I don’t know many other people who would have stayed sane during all this!

From spicy to mild ❤️ it probably sounds cruel but I’ve found the fastest way to tame a feral kitten is to separate them from their siblings. So after a week of trying and failing to touch these guys I split them up into 3 different enclosures in different rooms of the house. The 2 day chorus of cries was heart breaking and will drive anyone insane...but this is day 3!! These 2 were behaving so much I let them go back in together. The third kitten needs a little more one on one time 😉

Chewie was adopted! I’ve raised him and his siblings since 4 days old so I thought I’d be more emotional when he left, but he is going to be such a spoilt kitty that I was so happy to see him go ❤️
It was strange doing an adoption out of my garage with gloves and a mask on, but it’s the perfect time to adopt and settle in your new best friend so it’s worth the extra effort ❤️

Carlos needs to have his surgery this Saturday! Please share, We urgently need help raising funds!

We took on this rescue puppy at only a week old, he had his leg injury from day one but the vets said to wait til he was an adult to operate....well he has had a massive growth spurt since then and now the specialist vet wants to operate ASAP before he injures himself more 😞 he is a giant baby, 22lb and only 12 weeks old!

I know it’s a difficult time for everyone with the virus going around, but we can never stop rescuing or these little lives suffer 😢 if everyone was able to chip in a few dollars we would have enough to get him fixed up ❤️

He has a deformed hip joint which has left a sharp piece of bone in there, as a 12 week old puppy he is full of energy, he runs and plays and falls over like any puppy, but this sharp bit of bone is at risk of cutting into muscle and causing a lot of pain 😞 it needs to be removed so he has a chance at a normal life

The estimate for the FOH surgery is $1500-1900 USD at the north valley vet clinic, California, the specialist is coming in on Saturday to operate on him.

Baby Carlos needs your help raising funds for surgery so he can pursue his basketball career!

For those of you following his progress I was asked to take in a one week old puppy who was found alone, injured and taken to a shelter. I’d bottle fed kittens before so I thought “how hard could a puppy be?” The answer is HARD! 😂
We’ve been through a lot of health issues and I knew he had a bad leg from day one but he was too small to treat it and just keeping him alive was more important in those early days.

At 6 weeks we had xrays done and discovered he didn’t have a proper hip joint. What was there was sharp and likely to cut through muscle and cause him pain. They usually wait until they’re an adult to do the salvage surgery but he’s grown so rapidly that the vets want to move it to next week!! 😳 he will be 12 weeks old (but already larger than the adult dogs they’ve done thus surgery on!) they plan to remove the sharp bone, which won’t “fix” his bad joint but it will at least free him from pain allowing him to continue playing basketball ❤️

The estimated costs for the specialist surgery is $1000 US.
I know it’s a lot to ask but if anyone would like to contribute to the costs of his surgery it would mean the world of difference to this big baby ❤️
I’m also volunteering at the animal shelter and taking in lots of sick mums with kittens with costly vet bills, any donations mean I can spend more of my own money helping as many kittens as possible too ❤️

I looked into setting up a gofundme but they charge 30c per donation PLUS 2.9% of total donations, which takes money away from the animals who need it most 😢

This little lady went back to the shelter for her spay, and she was very upset with me when she got home!
The shelter say she’s a handful and “feral” I say she’s a kitty who knows what she wants! A life of luxury and fingers to bite

Little kylo is still battling pneumonia, but here is him purring away with a milk moustache after his last bottle feed ❤️❤️

One of the babies suddenly came down with pneumonia 😞 likely caused from the virus mumma cat had when she gave birth to them prematurely.
He’s been at the vets today on oxygen and nebulizers and has been sent home with some stronger antibiotics to hopefully clear up the issue 😞 his brother died of this a week ago so fingers crossed he stays strong and fights this off!
3 weeks old tomorrow❤️❤️

Newest foster baby rescued from a high kill shelter. She was labeled as “feral” but is the sweetest and most affectionate kitty ever ❤️❤️ and only a baby at 6-9 months old!
She’s already good friends with our foster pup Jasper! ❤️

A couple of days late but happy 6 week birthday!!
He’s looking at me like I’m an embarrassing mum 😂 and then stole the crown and ran off 😂
Big week for the big puppy! He had his first lot of vaccinations, had his faulty leg xrayed and sent to a specialist for review, we found out he’s a Great Pyrenees cross Australian shepherd and he had his first exploration out in the yard!
