With a recent flood of requests and questions I just want to briefly remind clients that ODT is not scheduling or taking new clients at this time.
I miss you all dearly and we hope to resume regularly booking after we welcome a new human to the ODT pack.
We miss working with all of you dearly and we hope that you understand.

For those that were wondering how Assistant manager RZA was doing, he is enjoying a well earned vacation at home waiting for his new human friend to come along. He had a great year of helping with our puppy clients and helping our Dog reactive/aggressive clients this year.

FUN UPDATES:
We are planning to add new services and forms of training when we return to booking but we are looking into what the demographic is like for people who want to obtain these types service and even considering the potential of B&T in the future.

Meet the newest member of the ODT training pack!

D.Lilah is a sweet rescue Pibble that is gonna be working on managing excitement, loose leash walking and basic obedience.

D.Lilah has a lot of work ahead of her as a potential SDiT and we’re starting at square 1. Lucky for Lilah mom has been working with her since her gotcha day.

Follow up post on this big fella!
This sweet cotton ball is named fella and today we gave mom tons of information on how to work through jumping to greet his besties (grandma is his favorite but dont tell anyone else 🤫🤫)
and building confidence for this shy guy.

Autumn is a beautiful shep/husky mix pup that’s going to start basic obedience+loose leash walking. We spent our first session working on our walking and discussing Autumns diet, exercise, and “habits”, we’re setting up goals and getting ready to hit the ground running.
Look at those peepers! Good job today Autumn! RZA loved helping and demonstrating today!

Pandas mom graciously supplied Christmas cookies,

This is what you see me using on your dogs.
My main in any old 6 foot leash but THIS is a major hit in my book. I had a client ask me to get one for them because they liked how many uses it had so I figured I’d share it with you guys. Super cheap super durable and the Velcro on it hasn’t given out on me after 8 months of RUFF use.

Rarely any treats (he still gets some because I’m a sucker for a good boy and he does a bang up job )

We passed just about everything and anything to make a dog take off, and he stayed FOCUSED.

Within two sessions, Pippin and Lorenzo have made a tremendous amount of progress.

Lorenzo is no longer afraid of big scary trash cans, and he’s championing his anxiety.

Often enough and much to many’s surprise I don’t usually train your dog for you, I teach and show you how to train your dog which is much more worth while.

These two are a perfect reflection of the dedication and hard work their mom has been putting in.

On dog held a contest to win two free training sessions in elizebethtown. Out of 158 entries a winner was selected by random. Congrats to Karen Thrush! Thank you elizebethtown for taking in part in “what my dog is thankful for”

Lesson 1 today was safety and rules for
Boundary training (due to fencing) and recall today. This is Ricky the pyr mix and his big bro Ollie.
Ollie also took part in learning self restraint today as he can cop dog his brother for playing sometimes.

Chief is getting settled into his new home and is working hard on his big boy manners.

tip:
Your dog has to know what you mean when you give a command prior to setting expectations. Say it once and mean it when you say it. But don’t expect results without hard work and repetition.
Good sit chief.
Love this family for wanting to grow as pet parents with their rescue, true dedication to seeing it to the end.

Ritter is excited to inform you he has taken up advanced obedience with Kai in hopes to begin agility. He’s also recently begun his Hobbie of attending the dog park and is a social butterfly but still very timid. I love working with Ritter and couldn’t be more pleased with his progress.

On dogs heading to beaus dream dog park to check it out. What do you do to socialize your dog?
If you need clarification, not all dogs enjoy the dog park. Check your pups manors and stress indications, always set your dog up for success.

Panda appreciation!!!!!
Panda is a beautiful golden retriever, full of personality and LOVES when people come to visit him!

🐶We are focusing on how to properly greet!👏🏻! Panda and his parents have this in the bag 🐶

Mom and dad are the best at keeping up with pandas enrichment/mental stimulation. He walks a full trail often, and is finding success in heel!
Showing leadership with panda has made improvement possible.

Luna and June love bonding through games of chase and the occasional body slams now and then. 🐶🐾 can never have too much fun with this family.

Super proud of the dedication the pet parents have put into these two. Love has no boundaries with this family and their pups!

Ps. Luna is learning hand signals like a champ with mom and dad 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. June has fun getting snacks out of it occasionally too 😂!

PUPDATE on Ritter !
Ritter is home from a long trip in Iowa, he is growing! Love this family to pieces and I’m so proud of the commitment to training they have made! Shepard’s can be hard, they need constant exercise and stimulation! This family isn’t and has never been shy to giving Ritter the play and exercise he needs to be the good boy he knows he is.
Love y’all and thank you for always supporting my growth.

Chief has had quiet the life coming from Arkansas as a rescue, chief struggles on leash and is quiet the mouthy boy! However we have worked through our leash problems and we are going to start working on that smile! Welcome to on dog chief!

PUPDATE :on Luna and Junebug🐶🐾💕
Luna is adjusting beautifully with her new family and Junebug is certainly having a blast with her sissy.
June has had a month full of accomplishment with dad. June got her first buck with dad and was hot on that trail! I am so proud of June for wanting to take part and learn with dad all the ropes of farm life fun.
Luna their beautiful Pit who is hearing 100% impaired has been working on learning basic commands and how to walk on leash with her mom,dad and June by her side every step of the way and is making steady progress and now knows sit by hand signal which may seem like no biggie, but she worked hard to understand the line of communication without being able to hear.

Look out for more updates on Junebug, Luna and their family along their journey.

Welcome to the family Luna!
Today Junebug and her parents rescued/adopted a special needs (hearing impaired) pup. Of course, it went off without a hitch first meeting. Congrats to June and her family 🐾🐶
