Fun things are happening here today. Penny is in heat (yay!). S**a (Cody’s large cow dog) tore up a hanging fly trap for Bender so he could get ready for the ladies. He enjoyed rolling it and was pretty proud of himself for his new smell. I had no idea what had happened and held Bender long enough to realize something wasn’t right 🤢 and to get his new scent all over my church clothes. 🤢🤢. Needless to say I missed Sunday School this morning and barely made it to church on time. Bender is bathed. What’s left of the fly trap is cleaned up and the dogs are now enjoying a good bark outside. Only about 30-40 days until we know if Penny will be having puppies soon. 🙏 I can’t wait!

Penny loves the puppies so much. She just wants to lay in the pen with them so bad. Bessie isn’t having it tho.

Bessie had her babies today via c-section, thanks George Harty. Bessie and both babies are doing good; although, one of the puppies took a long time to decide it wanted to join the family.

I have deposits for males and wouldn’t know it she had two females. Female #1 weighs 7.1 ounces and female #2 7.0 ounces. Both are available.

Today is her due date; however, she isn’t showing any signs of labor. She is a little challenging because she was in standing heat for 10 days. 😳 So, we might have some time.

She has had her nightly massage and temperature taken. Now she is out. She doesn’t sleep on my bed usually but mommas get special treatment. ❤️

Labor still hasn’t started and it seems like she is doubling in size every day! Poor girl is huge this morning.

We need your help!!!!

Meet our new sweet girl a mini party poodle. She is happy, playful, and right at home here on the ranch. (She does need to see a groomer and that is coming ASAP). She has her registered name, Elle Brown’s Gem, but not the name we plan to call her. We would love some suggestions.

Fancy has been an excellent momma dog but due to no fault of her own she will not have any more litters. 😭 The decision was made in respect for my parents who love Fancy as much (maybe even more 😉) than their seven daughters. It worries their hearts that Fancy may experience a complication in pregnancy or birth that would cause her pain or take her life and more litters of puppies (regardless of how perfect they are) is not worth my parents broken hearts. May Ms. Fancy live the rest of her life giving love and support to her people. ❤️
