The Scottish Terrier Club of California will be hosting a DNA banking event at our spring puppy match, on Saturday March 4th, at Galster Park in West Covina, CA. This is a great opportunity for Southern California Scottish terrier owners to have their Scottie’s blood drawn and stored with the STCA Health Trust Fund managed DNA bank. Thanks to a grant from the HTF for this purpose, all costs are covered for Scottie owners. Bring your scotties to the puppy match, have their blood sample drawn and never have to draw blood on them again. One 2-3 ml sample provides 100’s upon 100’s of DNA samples that will be used for future research to improve the health of our beloved breed.

Sleepy time. All played out.
Pinkie’s puppies are 7 weeks old today. They all checked out healthy at the vet yesterday and received their first vaccine. They got to play with an empty water bottle today. Fun cheap toy. Also, our pink collared female had a temporary green collar in this video. They keep pulling them off!
6 weeks. Out of the playpen and outside to play. Now they are dirty, dirty noses from digging and ready for a bath. 4 more weeks and they will be ready to join their new families.
