Interested in learning how to paint horses in watercolor? Join me for this fun one day workshop October 4 in Lansing! I will teach the basics of watercolor and how I approach painting horses. We will use the horses at the center for our models! Participants will leave with an 8x10 watercolor of their favorite horse! All supplies provided and no experience necessary! Come join me and the horses for a fun evening of painting 💙

✨ Red Barn Transformation! ✨

We are so excited to share the progress on our Red Barn! Thanks to generous donations, the barn has been transformed into grooming stalls—giving horses a space to get ready for lessons without interruptions and providing an indoor teaching space for groups year-round.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed your time, effort, and resources—we could not have done it without you!

Whether it is moving poles, riding side by side, or just sharing laughs in the barn, our students show us every day how horses bring people together. 💕

Working with horses teaches more than just riding — it is about teamwork, responsibility, and supporting one another. We love seeing our riders pitch in, help each other, and grow as both horse people and friends!

Just like people, horses need to see the dentist too! 🦷

Our veterinarian visited today to do our horses and make sure our horses are comfortable and healthy. Regular dental care is important for humans and horses!

Our final summer camp highlight is our 4-day immersive camp designed just for our 5th - 8th grade students! Campers saddled up and learned the ins and outs of riding saddle cleaning, and horse care, building confidence and horsemanship skills all week long.

The grand finale? A trail ride at Stony Lake Stables where they put their new skills into action on an hour long trail ride! 🐴

Between painting horses and rocking some seriously fun grain bag fashion, this group brought tons of creativity and energy to camp!

Our second summer camp highlight includes our Western Adventure and Everything Horse Jr. camps! Our 3rd–5th grade campers dove headfirst into the world of horses — from learning to ride and heading out on trail rides, to practicing their roping skills, to the all-important job of lot cleaning.

Of course, it would not be camp without a splash of creativity, so they also got to paint horses and enjoy plenty of hands-on fun!

With school officially started we wanted to highlight all the fun memories that were made this summer! Our K–2 campers had the best time during our Unicorns & Rainbows + Dapples & Designs camps! From building their own pool noodle horses, to painting and decorating t-shirts, to exploring all the colors around our farm, these campers let their imaginations run wild. 🌈🦄

Of course, the highlights also included spending time with our big horses and minis — the perfect magical touch to our camps!
