We want to wish Jensen a happy retirement! Jensen has been a great member of our herd, participating in both therapeutic and non-therapeutic riding lessons, and even showing off his skills at a horse show in EWD and walk/trot classes! His tall height always added a bit of magic for our students, and his gentle, puppy-dog personality made him a barn favorite.

We are so grateful for him helping riders learn, grow, and build confidence. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement, big guy!

We need your help with facility upgrades!🚧🔨👷‍♀️

This summer, we are going to go through some facility renovations! This will include turning our red barn into a grooming & tack area. This will open up opportunities for more lessons & expands our capability to provide hands-on educational activities with our equine friends year-round in an indoor space.

What we need:
This project requires 11 more stall mats to create 5 grooming bays & a walkway through the barn. We are asking for your help to reach our goal! Donated mats can be new or used (in good condition). We are looking for 4 feet by 6 feet rubber mats with anti-slip material.

The ECL show team attended another show this weekend using our brand new trailer to haul our horses to the fairgrounds! We celebrated coach Charlotte’s birthday at the LMHA horse show. The show team did super well & we are so proud of their horsemanship & sportsmanship!

That’s a wrap on an amazing year with our after-school crew! Last week, we wrapped up another incredible year with our Beekman students at ECL!

We ended the season with our annual showcase, where students proudly demonstrated the skills they have learned, like grooming and leading our horses.

To add some extra fun, a few students even got to choose horse costumes and show them off to their classmates! 🐴✨

Big news — the Equine Center for Learning now has a trailer of its own!
We are beyond grateful to our incredible donor and to everyone who contributed to our trailer fund, your support made this dream a reality.
With our new wheels, we have some exciting things in the works… stay tuned for fun adventures ahead!
