I would like to note that I live in a very bohemian household. I have three roommates who are male & my personal studio space is very small (but cozy.) My studio space is in part of my living space, & it is decorated with art, peace signs, lots of knick knacks & photos, & other things you may find in a bohemian household (feather boas, glow-in-the-dark stars...) I have a cat that may wonder in mid-lesson (or for the full lesson) & try to distract or "help" during your time in the studio. Occasionally, the house may smell of candles, incense, or (unfortunately) cigarette smoke. I can understand parents with young children who do not live a similar lifestyle being uncomfortable with their kids in such a setting, especially if we are not already acquainted. That is why I offer my services at the homes of my students as well. I am a professional person who is aware that my current living situation does not provide the most professional environment for a lessons studio to most people. I will not be offended if you do not wish to do lessons here; what is more important is that I hope that my personal situation & lifestyle do not deter you from giving your child a wonderful educational experience with me. I hope that my honesty & sincerity on the matter is clear, but if you have ANY questions, please feel free to ask!
