Helping Hooves Proud Equestrian Program (Lapeer Co.) It is almost spring and we are planning our spring PEP sessions. Can't wait to see everyone. But more importantly, riding is fun!

All those that are interested in our upcoming session should get a hold of Jean at 810-667-0343. Proud Equestrian Program known as P.E.P is a theraputic riding program for the disabled. With the help of trained and caring volunteers, riders can improve balance, coordination, posture and muscle tone. Horseback riding also increases self-esteem, self-confidence, discipline and social growth.

General information

The Lapeer County P.E.P program is offered in spring, summer, and fall. The spring and fall sessions are 6 weeks, once a week for 45 minutes. The summer session is for 4 weeks and is for the more advanced students that can tack up and groom on their own.
