We are SO proud of Jorja Boulter and Diversion Investment❣️. Jorja and Ryder attended their very first Quarter Horse show at the end of July 2023. After attending only 3 MQHA shows they ended the year placing 4th in three events!!!

Somehow this supermom managed to have a full time job, (besides her home and family), a one year old daughter, a 12 year old daughter who also competes with her horse, and STILL squeezed in enough horse shows for herself to land in top spots both nationally and in Michigan!!

These two did not get the 2023 show season they deserved😞. After getting off to a great start, winning/earning points in trail, equitation and showmanship and halter at the first couple of shows of the year, Dylan had a freak accident, rolled his ankle and injured his extensor tendon and had to rest the remainder of the year💔. As in typical Audrey style, she stayed positive and attentive to Dylan’s needs, disappointed, of course, but always a winning attitude!
Despite that setback, they still ended up in the yearend standings in trail because of so much success at those first couple of shows!

I told Angie Heighton last January that Davis was quickly becoming one of my favorite showmanship horses😍. Well, she ran with that idea, took the bull by the horns and despite her busy schedule, she WON the nation in Rookie Select Amateur Showmanship🏆!!

Second, I have to give Sheldon the accolades that he deserves. God blessed him with talent and beauty, that is indisputable, but this horse’s heart is HUGE, he just keeps giving. His mind is pure and sweet. It’s been a busy year and he comes out EVERY day with his ears up and a “what do you want to do today” attitude🥰. You can’t teach that. But you can be kind and fair and he seems to understand that. A bond that trust built makes for a solid foundation.

2023 was quite a year for these two!! We all remind each other often to enjoy the journey, the path will have its bumps and even some holes, but I can honestly say, it has been so much fun to watch these two grow together, to figure each other out, hold each other together when one or the other wasn’t feeling it and celebrate each victory! Afterall, isn’t that what makes a strong team?!? I am thrilled for Tay and Sheldon and cannot wait to watch them SOAR in ‘24!!!

Home from a couple of weeks in Tampa at The Gold and Gulf Coast Circuits with these awesome young ladies and their faithful partners!
🔷Cool Lookin Ladysman, Taylin Collins, and I earned points in Performance Halter Geldings, HUS, Equitation, WP, Western Riding, Horsemanship and Trail.
Unofficially finishing 2023, Reserve in L3 Open Hunter Under Saddle AND Reserve L3 Youth Western Pleasure❣️ Quite an accomplishment on the same horse, in the same year!
Sheldon finished top 10 in the nation in multiple events and 4th in both the Youth and the Open All Around. Earning over 1000 points:)
This horse obviously has so much talent, but his heart and mind outweigh it all! He comes out each time with his ears up, I swear, a smile on his face and an “I’ll try” attitude, simply because we ask him to trust us!🥰. We truly cannot ask for more than that! He and Taylin have worked so hard to become an incredible team!! Congratulations Tay and Sheldon!

🔷The Social Network and Xandrea Sandusky had some of their best rides to date! Earning great placings in some very tough L1 Youth 18 & under and L3 13 & under Showmanship, Equitation, Horsemanship and WP!! This is their first year in w/t/canter classes and only 30 days in the “little saddle”. Their progress over the last year is amazing and I love their drive to improve with each ride❣️.
I am incredibly proud of these young ladies!! They both agreed to go to this show even when their parents were unable to attend……stuck with just me for 2 1/2 weeks! (That will teach you to appreciate your moms!!). They were mature and responsible beyond their years! At 12 and 16, I demanded alot. They worked hard, stayed up late, got up early and put their horses needs before their own. There were giggles and tears (“craughing” happens 🤷‍♀️). And, yet, the majority of the ride home consisted of setting new goals and devising a plan to execute said goals!! I could not be more proud of Xandrea and Taylin!!
We were blessed to have Morgan McCarthy-Warda Jennings with us for the first week to help us with all
things teenage girls and horses!! We love you Morgan❤️.
🔷HUGE congratulations to Morgan and Simply Presidential on their Circuit Championship in Amateur Pleasure Driving at The Gold Coast and unofficially finishing 2023 as Reserve Champion in the nation!! (Abe is proudly owned by Laurie Hoopes.)

We took advantage of a day off from the horse show and spent a couple of hours at the beach🌴☀️😍. Aside from a seagull stealing an ice cream cone right out of my hand, there is something very relaxing about sunshine and the sound of waves 🌊 .
Showmanship, Horsemanship and trail practice complete✔️.
Horses bathed…..Gulf Coast Circuit starts tomorrow….Let’s do this!!

The last week has been a blast with these 3 silly girls. It has been filled with early mornings, late nights, lots of hard work, weather challenges, giggles and goals! I’m proud of their maturity and their progress. Will play catch up soon but Gold Coast ‘23 is in the books and we are about to ring in 2024 the right way…..where else but at a horse show!!🎉🥂💙. Happy New Year!!

A young boy at IPS School 88 was having a rough day when Sgt. Precious Cornner-Jones, Indiana State Police Capitol Police Section, stepped in to show him a moment of kindness.
This little fella was having a rough morning and fell out on the floor. I saw his mother step back and look. She stated this is how he is expressing himself lately. I decided to get on his level and talk to him. He started to cry so I wiped his tears and told him it will be ok. As an adult sometimes all we want is one person to stop, get on our level and maybe wipe our tears. These children are entitled to bad days just as us, so give them that moment to bring it together. Get on someone's level today and make them smile!! Spread PEACE and LOVE you might be that person that gives them hope!
