This is one of the biggest lessons I've learned through Unbreakable and training for a 70.3.

The workout isn't the hard part.

The hard part is the decision making between workouts.

It's choosing the meal nobody sees. It's getting to bed on time. It's turning down the thing that pulls you away from your goal. It's winning the conversations in your own head.

Anybody can have a motivated day.

Anybody can crush one workout.

The question is what happens when the excitement fades.

Can you stay consistent when nobody is clapping? Can you keep your word when nobody is watching? Can you keep showing up when the results haven't arrived yet?

That's where discipline is built.

Not in one big moment.

In the thousands of small decisions that nobody will ever give you credit for.

That's what separates the people who talk about changing their lives from the people who actually do it.

BE CAREFUL WHO YOU DISMISS IN THE HORSE WORLD

The nervous beginner asking too many questionsโ€ฆ
The girl riding the โ€œaverageโ€ horseโ€ฆ
The person with the old float, second-hand tack, and big dreamsโ€ฆ
The quiet one standing on the fence watching and learningโ€ฆ

They may not look successful yet.
But not everyone starts with money, connections, confidence, or opportunities.

What the horse world needs more of is kindness.
People who encourage.
People who teach.
People who remember what it felt like to be new.

Stay humble.
Support people on the way up.
And never underestimate someone with heart, grit, and a dream bigger than their circumstances.

It was a beautiful afternoon for a cookout! (Finally!) We spent the day eating and drinking and of course, riding some horses at our new location:-) Finished out the day with some great music!! Huge thanks to everyone who pitched in, brought yummy food and most of all for the pleasure of your company! We will do it again soon!
