Well, tonight I came home from working late (because I’m an *artist liaison*) and said “hey mom, I reallllly want to meet that Dr. Katie Hazzard from your vet tech series, please take me to Veterinary Emergency Group” 😆

But for real, shoutout to the OG over at the Boca Park Summelin location, immediately walking in and recognizing the Vet on call took all of my anxiety away and just made my helicopter brain fly high even on zero sleep 🙌

She helped confirm Lily’s got another UTI 🥺 but… we are in good hands and will get this sorted out ASAP 🤞

From Susan Thixton: “The PURR Act establishes the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) as the sole regulatory authority over pet food for dogs and cats. It provides “certain flexibilities” for pet food manufacturers such as allowing ingredients listed on the label to be “sometimes present” (and sometimes not present). The bill allows health and quality claims to be made on pet food labels that are NOT validated, such as Human Grade or Urinary Tract Health. The PURR Act provides no benefits for pet owners, in fact, this bill could cause serious harm to millions of US pets.” 🐶

On Day 2 of Super Zoo I always take it easy because this is the annual day every year that EVERYONE is in town and I am so blessed to have gotten to spend the evening with such beautiful people who come together and fight for pet lives to be better ❤️‍🔥

During inside scoop, told us the story of how was curated and presented her Mama with a crown for the best mom ever award! 👑

and I shared so many beautiful raw and honest conversations that you really should stay tuned because our collaboration has so much more to come! 🥹

The truth is not everyone listed on Rover or a 3rd party website is a "bad pet sitter" or "awful dog walker", they are all simply just dog lovers looking to pay their bills 🐶

Our blog is a complimentary directory built for the community of Southern Nevada. We don't charge the business to be listed and we don't charge you a referral fee! Why? Because we just want to keep pets... SAFE! 🐾

Mistakes happen but why be reactive, when we can be proactive? Here are two simple questions you can ask your potential new sitter/walker 🐕

🌟 What would happen if my you OR my pet, had an emergency?
🌟 What would happen if you OR my dog accidentally damage property?

If your potential sitter struggles to answer those questions, keep searching! It's not worth the risk. And if your pet sitter fails you, please communicate with them! Everyone has "bad days" but if they can't learn from their mistakes they will keep repeating them. 💫
