Mostly Exotic Reptiles who come from abused & neglected homes (get them rehabilitated then find forever loving homes, but some do end up becoming pets). Experienced with all sorts of animals from Exotic and domestic cats/kittens, ferrets, Rabbits, Iguanas, Bearded Dragons, all sorts of fish, all breeds of dogs from small to extra large, snakes.....again just about any type of animals there is. exp

However, if there is an Iguana or Bearded Dragon that is in really bad shape and I know I might be their only hope to live, I will take them. I am however taking care of a colony of feral's who have all been spayed and neutered. I was 14 years old and it was during Hurricane Fran that I decided I wanted to own a small rescue. I saved a 8 month old Siberian Husky named Apollo who was being chained up in a yard with no shelter. I asked my foster mother if I could please go get him, she told me yes so I went down to the person's house, knocked on their door and asked them to please let me have him, he did not deserve to be chained up with no shelter during the storm. To my surprise the person just gave him up. They gave me his papers and let me take him. When I walked into the yard where Apollo was chained his eyes lit up as if I was an angel. It was like he knew I had come to save him. There was no food or water bowls. Apollo was filthy and so emaciated his ribs were showing. When I took Apollo home it was then that I told my foster mother that I was going to own a small rescue and it would be called Rainbow Rescue.

I feed BunBun all food (fresh veggies, pellets, hay and treats) in his house since he is food aggressive. Some of his food aggression is really bad, and feeding him in his house stops the cats from wanting to see what he has and if they like it, which none of the cats like anything that BunBun eats. He has a hay rack, a corner litter box with hay in the front and hay bag in his house. He also has a high sides and back litter box with hay in the front (of course) inside one of those extra large hard plastic dog kennels. I was about to go to bed and he knows he has to go to his house for anything that he eats, this is him waiting for his bedtime cookie (Oxbow Digestive Support Treat). He gets one cookie in the morning after breakfast yum yums (½ Romaine lettuce leaf, ½ Red Leaf lettuce, ½ Green Leaf lettuce and a Sprig of Italian Parsley. I cut the leaves of lettuces straight down the middle of the spine.) and one cookie at bedtime.

A program at the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine uses donated pacemakers for pets with heart problems.

Sharing: I shared another post a few days ago about Ormonde, then found out that page was a fake page so I removed it. I'm not sure which page is the real one as there are many, but I love Ormonde. I'm also not sure if Ormonde is a mare or not as the comments have been conflicting, but seems to do the mare ears a lot. I absolutely love Ormonde's personality and she's / he's given warning, look at the ears, pinned back every time a tourist gets in her / his space. My Gram was originally from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire England and we had talked about me going with her the next time she went for a visit. Sadly, Gram passed away 3 days before my 30th birthday in 2011 at the age of 90 so I never got to visit.
Note: I read in many comments on multiple pages that the horses and Guardsmen are out standing for 1 hour then they switch out.

We are at $1,100! Please share with family, friends, co-workers and let's make this the year of the feral cats!

The cats have a rough life if they are not spayed or neutered and kittens are born and do not always survive. Life in a colony is a little better, however if they are not sterilized many times it survial of the fittest.

Please help us make our goal of $10,000 by the end of tonight!
