Bought a new cat tree… RAYMOND gave it his Biscuits of Approval 🤣😻❤️
😭💔😭💔😭 NOODLE has been staying at the clinic for weeks now. It has become his home and he’s been given free rein of the place. He was so sick, finally improving and began eating and gaining weight. This morning, he was struggling to breathe and had 70 mls of fluid drained from his lungs. It is not his heart, it is a tumor, a cancer. Tomorrow we to say so-long. Tomorrow we have to rip open our hearts so that he can climb into them forever. His clinic family at @vegaspet702 are loving him up today, and our vet, @nicholewagner3 will be helping him unfurl his wings in the morning while we hold him. Please keep Noodle in your thoughts until then…he will feel the love. 🙏🏻💔😭🐾 #cancer sucks #sphynxcat_insta
Needed long-term foster in the Henderson/Las Vegas area for a 10yo moderate CH kitty. No dog door or access to the outside. Must have CH experience and be willing to transport back-and-forth to our vet. Home check required. Please PM.
🐾UPDATE: PELUCHIN was just caught last night, and admitted to our vet this morning. I met the transporter there. He was whisked to the back and set up in a double kennel to begin diagnostics. Poor old guy is at least 15-17 yo, horrible URI and bloody nose, smells rotten, but still has life in his eyes. We will do the best we can for him. He is being fully worked up, so as soon as we have more information, we will post. Please understand that he is in very rough shape, send up your prayers and good vibes for him! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
🆘🆘🆘 We were just contacted about this old guy in north LV who the feeder has been feeding for many years. They call him PELUCHIN, which means something close
to ‘teddy bear’. They said he’s very thin, very sick, losing his hair, and sometimes can’t stand. We asked them to bring to our vet in the morning, and we will have him admitted. We don’t know if he’s dumped or lost. We’ll check for a chip, and post him on Pawboost , etc, once we can get a better look at him. Right now, we really need good thoughts and donations to help him. We have PP, Venmo, and Zelle. Donations may also be called directly into the vet, Mt Vista Animal Hospital at 702-458-8808 for Peluchin. Thank you all! 🙏🏻🐾🥹😿❤️

Little tour of part of the sanctuary yard. We’ll be updating this weekend with pics of the new cats. Everyone is doing pretty well right now, have a couple dentals coming up, ongoing bloodwork checks, etc, but all renal, thyroid, and diabetic cats are good for now. Donations are always needed and appreciated! Ongoing care and feeding is expensive these days. Thank you all for your support. 😻❤️
So old PERCY, who is almost blind , fragile mouth from severe dental disease that has resulted in two dentals and a fractured jaw, and has a little trouble walking cause his back legs don’t work so well anymore, has decided he loves his dog Trinity after she’s been in the pool. Percy was a pull from the euthanasia list back in November. Happy Sunday Everyone! 😂😻❤️
Candid cat video came up in SWFR cofounder Ross Bispo’s memories. He agreed to sharing this, but we had to coax a little. A true cat man! 😹😻🐾❤️
Benny teaches eating etiquette…😂
❤️ UPDATE ON THE FERAL TRIPOD AND HIS BRO. Think they are more frightened then feral. Their caregivers did a good job with these babies. The tripod is STANLEY, and his brother is OLIVER. So Stan and Ollie. If you’re older you’ll get the connection. 😂 Stanley is very timid and spooks easily, he’ll take more time, but Oliver is just a little love bug. We’ll get better pics soon. Thank you to all who have contributed to their care. These are two who won’t live on the streets, their siblings had to be released back out, and it breaks our hearts. If people would just please spay and neuter and don’t let their cats roam. Welcome babies, life awaits! 😻🐾❤️
😻WELCOME GINGER TO SWFR! This girl was a friendly community cat about to be put back out on the streets. Instead, she’s now acclimating at the sanctuary and is just the cutest little sweetheart. Loves attention and catnip 🍌. We’ll get her a checkup this week, but she’s younger and hopefully won’t need much. ❤️
Confucius say: Never try to eat pizza in a house of cats. 🤣🤣🤣
Disclaimer: the three cats on his chair are hospice, they can eat whatever they want. ❤️
This is a happy story, not sad! This is freeway kitty AUTUMN at med time. If you recall, she was found on the freeway and needed an FHO surgery. At 1 1/2 yo, she is the size of a 6 Mo kitten, and only weighs 5lbs. She knows the bell is her med time and some Churu. 😂 We hadn’t posted, but she was diagnosed with FIP last month. 😩
She is on day 38 of GS treatment and responding well. Her 30 day bloodwork was great. She will complete 84 days of treatment and then go on to the observation period. We are so encouraged that she is going to beat this! Please keep rooting for Autumn, FIP is no longer a death sentence, and the cost of treatment has come down considerably, but is still an investment. The choice to treat FIP is not for everyone, it is a decision that each person must make; there is no right or wrong answer. Any support towards her treatment costs are greatly appreciated. #FIPsucks #MaxPaw #pandafipwarrior
At SWFR, cats aren’t the only ones who love the laser toy. 😹😹😹
Dexter’s having a good day and Dad’s beard makes a great scratcher.

A little to the left, please…🤣🤣🤣
Thank you RR for the ripple mats. The cats love them! This is DWARFY (from Street Catz) , CASEY (one of Cheddar’s babies) and little freeway kitty AUTUMN (FHO surgery). 😻❤️🙌
The Minions are three weeks old! Walking, wrestling, and getting teeth. Say Hi to Chester, Colby, Casey, Chip, Cashew, and Calliope. Can you say precious?? 😻😻😻
