Help Save Pets and People We are a 501c3 (number 88-0878007) non-profit, no kill, no cage animal shelter, which saves the lives of pets by adopting them into good homes. H.E.L.P.

was established in 1984 and has saved the lives of over 10,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens at our No-Cage, No-Kill animal shelter. We have changed our name to Help Save Pets and People, but nothing else has changed. We accept donations to fund our animal programs which include spaying, neutering, adoption, veterinarian care and educating the public in the humane treatment of animals. Looking f

or a home for your dog? We offer match up by text. We have many good homes for family dogs, who are good with children and other pets. Please text a picture to 725-373-8360 along with your name and phone number, the age and description of the dog and anything else we need to know. I'm posting this for a small, local rescue:

🐾 A Christmas Surprise for the Misfits 🐾🎄
Hello friends, we’d love to introduce you to Waids Misfits Rescue. We’re a small, family-run rescue that has been opening our home to dogs, cats, and rabbits who had nowhere else to go. Right now, we’re caring for 13 dogs, 10 cats, and 2 rabbits — each one a misfit with a story, each one deserving of love, joy, and a little holiday magic.
This year has brought both joy and challenges. We recently said goodbye to two of our beloved elder misfits, and while their absence is felt, their spirit inspires us to keep moving forward with love and dedication. 💕
So this Christmas, we want to make it extra special for the crew still with us. 🎁✨ Our goal is to wrap up toys, treats, and goodies, and stuff their stockings full to lift their spirits — and ours too. After all, they’ve been through so much, and they deserve to feel the warmth of the season.
We’ve updated our Amazon Wishlist not only with holiday goodies, but also with essentials to restock for the new year. Every gift helps us care for the misfits we have now and ensures we’re ready to welcome the ones we’ll meet in the months ahead. Since we’re still not a 501(c) nonprofit (we’re working on it!), we don’t receive outside funding — everything we do comes from our family and the kindness of people like you.
If you’d like to help us surprise the Misfits this Christmas, whether it’s sending a toy, a bag of treats, or even just sharing our story, it would mean the world. Your support keeps tails wagging, whiskers twitching, and doors open for more misfits in need.

Rescue dogs need good homes.

Lucas, is a white, male Maltipoo, at least 4 yrs old. He has shots and needs to be neutered. His microchip was put in by the animal foundation in March of 2021 but never registered by the owner. He weighs 13.8 lbs.

Princess, is a black, female Cockapoo mix, approximately 4 yrs old, and her microchip was last updated 12/22. She weighs 10.2 lbs. She is spayed and has her shots.
The rehoming fee for each of them is $100.

-He is closed off to other animals he doesn’t like to be pet too much e likes to play to himself and just enjoys the presence of his owners and an occasional back rub he’s very friendly to children but doesn’t like to play too much
-He loves to sit in the window and watch traffic and people
- he is leash trained
-He eats purina one sensitive skin and stomach

It breaks my heart to say this, but I’m looking to rehome my three loving cats. Unfortunately, I’ve had to keep them separate from my dogs, and it’s just not fair to them anymore.

Luna – 9-year-old larger tabby, spayed. Shots are not up to date. Very affectionate and loves attention. She is seated in her photo.
Lola – 8-year-old smaller tabby, spayed. Shots are not up to date. Sweet and gentle personality. She is the one standing .
Little Guy – 6-year-old black cat, neutered. Shots are not up to date. Super friendly and loves people.

All three are very sweet, social cats who love people and deserve a home where they can relax and get lots of love.

For their protection, a rehoming fee of $25 will be charged.
