Y’all….This dog…😂No one pouts more than Dally does when she’s upset. Dally got out of my lap and Jo Jo took her spot. I didn’t even notice Dally was pouting till she pushed the throw pillows on the floor. She was like “hello I’m really upset over here”. She wouldn’t even look at me till I moved Jo Jo off my lap. 😂#spoiled #spoiledcorgi #bluebonnetfarmscorgis #corgisoftexas #corgi #corgilife #merlecorgi
Boudreaux is the natural bobtail like his daddy. I just love his little tail. 💙
Maggie is really wanting Jo Jo to play tag with her this morning. 😂☀️
My dogs love these little puzzle toys. This one has three little candy corn bats they get out of the pumpkin. Dally is the undisputed champion of puzzle toys but Maggie is getting quicker!
Having a really hard time getting off my porch this morning.
It feels so good outside!
I could set out here all morning drinking coffee and watching my silly dogs. ☕️☀️

My daughter has been gone a lot this summer and just got back this weekend. The dogs definitely missed her. I was trying to rub her shoulders and they kept trying to get in her lap. 😂😂
Dally loves her new toy. It’s tail moves when she squeaks it. She keeps bringing it to me, it’s like she’s saying, “Mom, look at this!” 😂😂😂
The babies love playing with their tunnel. 💙 #bluebonnetfarmscorgis #corgipuppies #sundaysweetness
The babies got a new toy today. 😁
It was a morning of first for these babies. It was their first time to eat puppy food and their first time to go outside and play on the porch in their play pen.
I play desensitizing sounds when they are eating or nursing. I start with storms, then usually fireworks then people knocking on the door. I play these sounds softly at first and if there is no sign of distress in the puppies, I turn it up a little bit every time I play it and I only play at meal time. The theory is that this will have them associate the sounds with a positive feeling and not a negative feeling creating a dog that is not anxious when they hear the sounds in the future.
Cool right!?!
I find it fascinating that studies show that what you do in the first eight weeks of a puppy’s life can shape the kind of dog they are going to be.
Sometimes I use sounds tailored to the future the puppy is going to have with their family. For example, my last litter, I knew one of them was going to a family with a new baby, so I played sounds of babies crying during the puppies meal times. I also played sounds of construction sites since I knew one puppy was going to a home builder that may take his dog to work with him some.
I put a pet taxi or kennel in their play pen to get them, used to go into it. I take the door off of it right now because I don’t want to chance that they could accidentally get closed in there when I’m not looking and have a bad experience. I will sometimes put treats in their kennel or pet taxi so they associate these things with something positive, making a dog that doesn’t mind going into a kennel for you in the future.
These are just a few things I do when I’m raising a litter. So when people ask me if I make good money raising puppies I tell them maybe $.25 an hour. Lol
I don’t do it for the money, I do it because they bring me joy.
This baby boy is going to be a cuddle bug. He’s so sweet! 💙 #bluebonnetfarmscorgis
They have started playing with each other. I can’t handle the cuteness!!!
Congratulations to the Hightower Family on the addition of this adorable baby boy! 💙

Maggie- “ Mama help, I wanna take my bully stick in my play pen and it won’t fit through the door... “
Notice she has complete confidence that I will come take care of it. She might be a little bit spoiled. Lol
Me to My husband - “I’m sorry I can’t change the channel to the Rose Bowl. The dogs really into this dog show. “ Lol
The dogs got some new toys today.
I think Maggie likes her new monkey.
