Diesel's Home, 501c3 Diesel's Home is a non-profit, 501c3 pet rescue and shelter. We are named in honor of our Rottie, D His name was Diesel. He had such a huge personality.

I began following the path in dog/cat rescue when I was younger. Shortly after moving to SC, stray dogs and cats began showing up to my house. In 2014, we lost one of the best dogs I ever had the pleasure of raising. In 2016, with the help of a couple friends, we created Diesels Home, in honor of him. Since then I have had the pleasure of helping nearly 1000 dogs.and cats, whether through rescue a

nd adoptions, fostering for other rescues, completing legs of freedom rides, or using my status to pull at risk dogs and cats out of animal shelter. Unfortunately, over the years some of the rescued dogs and cats were not adopted and still remain with me. With 26 currently under my care, I have taken a step back from rescue and am now concentrating on the care and wellbeing of the animals here. More of a safe haven or sanctuary for 8 dogs with ages 1 1/2 to 13 yrs old, and 18 cats with ages 4 wks-15yrs old. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR ANIMALS. THEY CANNOT FEND FOR THEMSELVES. SPAY/NEUTER IS #1 PRIORITY

*UPDATE not euthanized yesterday!!! Still time to save one of these sweet babies! Also Ryan met some kids at the shelter and and appeared to love them.

🚨Final plea for darling Ryan, sweet as can be siblings Lucky and Love, and handsome hound Trevor before they are euthanized MONDAY 😭. Please HELP! Call NOW and leave a detailed message if can adopt. If you can FOSTER , please reach out to rescues in your area or dm us in case we can suggest a rescue 🚨

*rescued by non partnered rescue 💜 Ryan : This sweet guy is Approximately 3yr old, APBT mix, male, around 40lbs. Poor thing came in very skinny (emaciated). Did ok with other dogs ✅🐶although understandably wasn’t a fan of being jumped on but he did give a kiss to a calmer dog pal (see video). Can you help him 🥺? This sweet little guy doesn’t deserve to die .

💙Lucky and 🩷Love (can be adopted separately or together): two beautiful and super sweet Shepard mixes love the volunteers they’ve met and are melting the hearts of everyone with their sweet and eager to please personalities. 💙Lucky is approx 2yr old, male, shepherd/bulldog mix, around 65lbs. Very sweet guy, just eager to have some attention. 🩷Love is ~ 2yr old, female, shepherd/bulldog mix, around 60lbs. She is very sweet, does not understand being on a leash yet but is a smart girlie who will learn things quickly. Was scared of other dogs at shelter right now.

*adopted*💜Trevor : this very handsome hound pup is ~ 10m old, Bluetick hound mix, male, around 40lbs. Did well on dog test at shelter ✅🐶. Poor sweet fella has his tail cut off, we are guessing so they could tell the difference between him and other dogs 😞. He deserves so much better

Luna… I found this beauty about 6 months ago, while working in Timmonsville. Like many others, I brought her home. She had a URI, and despite trying every antibiotic and med eye drop/ointment, her eye remains partially shut. She goes into heat, about every 2 wks, which is not normal. I made arrangements to get her spayed. Vet shaved her belly and discovered a spay scar on her belly. I did some research to see why a Cat that has been spayed would go into heat., and why so often. Research says that it is most likely because all the ovarian tissue was not properly removed. As soon as this economy has better days, this poor girl will have to undergo, surgery/fishing expedition to find the lost or forgotten tissue.

Kona, the backyard breeder pup with parvo. Had a rough couple of days when first diagnosed. She is doing so well. She’s thriving and just a fun puppy. Now if she get the potty outside thing down, it would be GREAT!!!!!!! 🐾❤️🐾

UPDATE!!!! Tomorrow is the big day for Raider. He is still looking for some help with his surgery. The surgery is going to be about $3600. This is a lot with 26 cats and dogs to provide for. Every little bit will help. And did I mention every donation is tax deductible!!!!!!! If you can't donate, please share. RAIDER❤️ is still looking for help with his upcoming surgery. He has a torn ACL, in his back left leg, and arthritis in both front legs. His surgery is 3600, and scheduled for Tuesday the 23rd. I am currently taking care of 25 cats and dogs. And yes I’m a little nuts. BUT… someone has to help them. But with so many to care for? This bill is a wee bit too big. So asking for some help. Donations can be called directly into the orthopedics office, capital Animal Hospital, @ 8037221738 by giving Raiders name. Every dollar donated is tax deductible. You can legitimately write it off.

Diesel’s Home

Diesel’s Home started as a way to save the many strays dogs that showed up at my house. Living very close to a well known truck stop in the south, it is believed that many of these dogs are left at the stop and find their way down the street. We named the rescue after my beloved Rottweiler, named Diesel. He is truly missed every day. Sometimes, we feel he may be guiding the man use. Living very close to a well known truck stop in the south, it is believed that many of these dogs are left at the stop and find their way down the street. We named the rescue after my beloved Rottweiler, named Diesel. He is truly missed every day. Sometimes, we feel he may be guiding the many dogs and cats to us. Unfortunately, several of the dogs and cats that have come to us, are still with us. This makes it difficult to help too many more. We have 10 dogs and 10 cats, kept in the house, with 4 opportunities a day to run and play in the back yard. They are free to play only with those we know they get along with. We have added 7 large pens that are 8x4x6, in various rooms of the house to keep all of the dogs safe. We also have 4 outdoor feral cats that have moved in under the house. Since they emerge twice a day to eat, we have also constructed a cat house on the front porch, so they can be dry and out of the elements when they eat. Always looking for a way to make life better for the 24 animals currently living in or out of the house. Still a work in progress after 5 years.

While we do receive an occasional donation from our personal friends, we DO NOT receive donations from outside sources. Everything is paid from my own personal accounts, many times working three jobs to support all of the dogs and cats of Diesel’s Home.
