We are looking for dairy goats to add to our herd here at FTLOL, goat milk consists of 4.5% fat & 3.6% protein! WOW! Our calves in rehabilitation that are having a rough start thrive on goat milk because of its rich fatty contents! We like to keep a couple goats in milk that supplement our sick calves during their transformation! we don’t take babies from mom prematurely! We simply time our milking around babies feeding and mommas are happy to produce alittle extra! We promise a safe, loving environment where our does are spoiled, purposeful, and vital for survival of our tiny newbies!!

“Share more success” is the best advice I have gotten from a friend on how to deal with ridicule from bystanders doing nothing to change the truth behind why rehabilitation and rescue is a needed resource in Delaware. 501c3 is EXACTLY what is stands for NON PROFIT. This is not a paid job, you actually pay to be employed here. We are paid in gratitude, love and respect from a voiceless animal we put the effort in to save. We work tirelessly, relentlessly, and overtime trying to do the absolute IMPOSSIBLE. And even when they give up, we don’t…? Why…? Because if we did, we wouldn’t forgive ourselves.. so while your at home behind your phone laying with your children or cooking dinner for your husband spewing rumors, hate, or gossip about the funding, efforts, and mistruths of the rescue world we are outside beating our heads against the barn because this one didn’t make it, or it is time for euthanasia because your last ditch effort wasn’t enough… or maybe that home wasn’t the right choice for that animal…. Then we come in, sit with ourselves for a moment, check our phone and see negativity, drama, hate, ridicule on our platform to share awareness. Do you envy us? You think this is free money, or an easy ride? Do it…. Be responsible for the lives of the unwanted, beat down the doors of the humans responsible for the abuse, miss time with your family, friends and loved ones, meds are still needed on Christmas, you know…. NO vacation, these lives depend on you, sleep? Fu***ng forget it…. You save this horses life, or you gonna be late on the electric bill??? 501c3 animal rescue appreciates the publics donations but no one in their right mind goes into this expecting they won’t self fund. I work 3 jobs…… businesses i run… I can’t stand the logistics of this entity…. I hate the truth behind WHY we even have to exist… and most of the time, the ones spewing hate are the reason we are here. I WISH, I could spend more time updating and sharing success… there is so much joy in success… but if you know me, time is absolutely of the essence. I am needed somewhere at all times… so those precious moments I spend with the members of FTLOL I don’t pull out my phone. I do this alone, a lot of it alone. Any rescue that doesn’t spend so much time promoting and sharing success spends time being present, too busy to even p*e during the day, is depressed about a life unable to be saved…. BUT… it doesn’t make our success in saving lives any less… actually maybe more. I wish I had more time to be outside playing with my crew, but It’s more important the calves get meds, horses get new beds, hooves are done… worms are gone, anemic goats are warm and their owners hopeful for recovery. Not to mention for work, I am on the phone, answering questions, scheduling livestock maintenance, talking someone through birthing goats… before you say a word about my ethics, work, honesty or passion… show up. Come see what my day to day consist of and see if you feel the same… see if you could float. Then once your beaten down, tired, done your best and it WAS enough let someone tell you it wasn’t. Then, maybe you’ll understand my disconnect from social. My disconnect from uneducated agricultural frauds… BUT, you can find me in my local school spreading knowledge and awareness, local vendor events recruiting volunteers and new livestock workers and farriers… taking care of my clients loyally and giving their animals the care I give my own. So with my rant coming to an end, if you aren’t in it… support it. If your dancing the blurred lines of livestock law I hope your days are numbered. And as for me, I’ll keep doing what I do with or without the support from uneducated, lawless, envious, wanna-be, hateful bystanders. For all my rescues out there doing the RIGHT things, who really share the PASSION… I SEE YOU! The ones who matter, your herd, your family, the unwanted and unloved… THEY see you. And just keep going, it’s a cold ass world… advice of the day…. If you have time to ridicule someone doing more than you, you have too much time… do more. ♥️🐮💋

‼️DONORS BEWARE‼️

Unfortunately we have to say this, for the sake of the animals and deceit this local Delaware “Rescue” is preforming. ANCHORED IN HOPE ACRES is in no affiliation with Delaware equine or livestock rescue. They are misguiding where the funding is going and the vet care being provided. This is not hear say, and is an ongoing issue with many kind hearted folks that have given money to the woman running this “rescue” Katlyn Gray. She is not equipped to care for the animals she is acquiring and she has sold, auctioned, and flipped animals that have died days later from not receiving adequate care in her possession. If more details are needed, please message us. But for all the kind hearted folks that see a sad photo and want to donate to a cause, please…. Do not enable her to harm more animals. Find a 501c3 that truly could use the funds to help equine or livestock. There’s a long list of them that count on donations to keep their animals healthy, happy and safe. And if they don’t get donations, THEY SELF FUND IT. Because when you have passion for rescue, you do everything you need to do for the safety of the animals in your care. ANCHORED IN HOPE ACRES is in livestock for profit, which is FINE, but do not portray your company as a rescue and lie to your following about the care and supplies these animals are receiving… it’s sickening. Anchored in hope and her affiliates do not like FTLOL because we know the in and out of her performance first hand. I have been on service calls to attempt to mend 6 month old calves she homed, lied about, and did not vaccinate properly which resulted in death from BVD, and RhinoV. Anchored in hope from my knowledge is not 501c3, ask for her books. They choose to slander my rescue because I know the secrets they choose to hide. After $1000 of meds and equipment she stole from me while partnered, she refused to give back my animals that were in “her care” and has sold them for profit. This was over a year ago. The negligence. Deceit, and bullying she condones her affiliates to engage in is unprofessional, inappropriate and misleading. RANT OVER. AWARENESS SPREAD. We work full time jobs to self fund our rescues, because we care for the well-being of our farm and animals… I work in agriculture, i farm along side my rescue and work. I have over 15 clients that have been mislead and lost animals they loved from Anchored In Hope that they paid a surplus of money for. If an animal is unhealthy and needs a home, you find it a home with folks that can give it the care and love needed for no rehoming fee…. Please for the sake of the passionate people in the rehab/rescue world. Leave the drama at the door… we have our work cut out for us already. This is absolutely not a post to host an argument, It’s simply for you take take in, share with friends in ag, and save you headache and heartache.

‼️Freed from confinement, to not be able to run‼️

We have had so much to do, give our time and attention too during the standardbred project, some of our other priorities were set on the back burner. Our 12 year old appendix race horse Calhoun is still battling with his hoof healing. Calhoun requires prescription medication for pain, and everyday attention to his feet just for him to walk comfortably. His feet have to stay dry and wrapped. This is a lot of work and a struggle for him daily. Our wonderful vet recommended soft ride boots for his front hooves, to aid him in standing and walking while we heal him and rule out long term navicular disease. X-rays for him are $550. Our team would like to purchase his boots so he can atleast have more comfort during his healing. They really will make the world of difference in his case! If you would like to contribute to his new booties please see the images and links below and donate through our PayPal invoice! we always admire your support and devotion to our rescues! 🫡💕 Let’s get him one step closer to his painless freedom run!

Alex and Brady got new halters and groomed out, they stood so well and loved every bit of the pampering!!! Brady’s halter was so old, dirty, stiff and caked with mud, we had to cut it off.. I can’t imagine the relief from wearing that thing for so long! Now he has a lightweight rope halter that was donated to him!
