🚨LONGTIMER ALERT — AT IMMEDIATE RISK🚨
We are resharing this lovebug! This sweet love is Honolulu. Lulu is about 4yo and has been in the shelter since May. She’s a longtimer now which makes her urgent and at immediate risk of being euthanized for space. Lulu came to the shelter as a stray and has been overlooked these past few months. She’s an absolute dream dog and we hate that she hasn’t found a home. She loves people and is super affectionate. She’s a hugger and a cuddler and laps up all the pets and attention. She’s a smart girl who knows basic commands and will sit patiently for a treat. She also loves toys and isn’t as keen on playing with them so much as she is carrying them around and showing them off while wagging her tail. We love this sweet girl and don’t want to see her lose her life. Please help us save Honolulu!
✨PLEASE NOTE: as volunteers we do not do dog interactions for liability purposes. We are therefore uncertain how the dogs we post would react to other dogs, cats, or to your particular pets. We recommend all questions regarding temperament be directed to shelter staff. If you own a dog and are interested in adopting, we recommend you bring your dog to the shelter for a staff-supervised interaction with the dog you are interested in adopting✨

🚨OWNER SURRENDER — URGENT SENIOR🚨
We are pushing this sweet girl once again to give her a fighting chance! She is extremely urgent and needs out immediately! Please share her and consider adopting or fostering this lovebug to save her life!
This poor baby is Princess. She’s about 7yo and is a new arrival at the shelter but it isn’t her first time with us. She was originally in the shelter back in 2020 and ended up being adopted. Sadly her owner and some life changes happen and could no longer care for her properly, so she’s back at the shelter. She’s struggling in the shelter environment and really needs out as soon as possible. Because of her owner surrender status and her difficulties adjusting to the shelter, we are considering her to be urgent and at immediate risk. Princess is a sweet girl who is highly treat motivated. Her skin and fur isn’t in the best shape so we think she’d benefit from a good nutritious diet. Despite her age she still has a bit of energy and would probably enjoy some exercise and playtime. She was easily walked and handled and just needs time to decompress out of the shelter so she can feel herself again. We think she would make a great foster dog for someone willing to give an old girl some time to recuperate! Please help us save sweet Princess!
✨PLEASE NOTE: as volunteers we do not do dog interactions for liability purposes. We are therefore uncertain how the dogs we post would react to other dogs, cats, or to your particular pets. 🎀🎀Betty🎀🎀
This girl is Betty! She’s been waiting at the shelter since mid June. The shelter has her as about 7 years old and 64 lbs. Poor Betty is stressed out in this loud, overwhelming environment. She often goes to the back of her kennel in fear. She takes some time to come around, but she does seem to warm up with people she has seen multiple times. It helps that she is fond of treats too!
She needs some TLC as she appears to have been another discarded and used mama dog. Shy dogs just need a place to decompress so she would be a great dog to foster. We hope this girl can find a foster or home that will give her a better life that she deserves.

🚨HEARTWORM POSITIVE LONGTIMER ALERT — LAST CALL ISSUED🚨
We are resharing this sweet girl because she is living on borrowed time!
This cutiepie is Willow! Willow is about 4yo and has been in the shelter since early May. She’s at immediate risk of being euthanized so we need to find her a home as soon as possible. Willow came to the shelter alongside another dog as a stray. She would likely do well with another pup in the home with slow and proper introductions. She also happened to come into the shelter with heartworms, which is why she’s at risk. Heartworm positive dogs are given 3 months to find a committed adopter, foster, or rescue, or they’re euthanized. The shelter will pay to treat the heartworms but only once the dog has committed placement. Willow came to the shelter on May 7, which means she has until August 7 to find placement or she will die. She’s an incredibly sweet girl who loves people and getting attention. She’s affectionate and appears to have had some puppies in the past. She’s a great smaller size and still has some spunk and enjoys playing with toys and romping around. She’d be a great addition to any home and we need help getting her out of the shelter. Even having someone foster her during her heartworm treatment can save her life! Please help us save sweet Willow!

This sweet love is Bailey. Bailey is about 3yo and just came into the shelter but we really want to find her a home. Bailey (the black dog in the video) was in a pen with another pup named Mr. Boo (the white/brown dog) and they seemed to be a bonded pair. They both seemed to be well cared for and we really hoped their owner would come for them. But no one came so they needed a new home, and we hoped they’d be adopted together. As soon as they were available for adoption, Mr. Boo found a home, but Bailey was left behind. This girl is the sweetest little pup and she loves people. And being with Mr. Boo we know she can do well with other dogs. She’s a mellow girl with low energy and would be a great new best friend. Please help us find this girl a furever family!
