The Waredaca Eventing Education Foundation (WEEF) is in search of a Communications Assistant. This position is part-time and open to independent contractors only.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• posting press releases, photos and other content to Waredaca and WEEF social media sites
• corresponding with Jimmy Wofford Scholarship winners throughout the year for updates, photos and interviews
• monitor WEEF email accounts and send emails as requested
• write and send thank you notes to WEEF donors as needed
• create social media content as needed
• potential other duties as assigned related to WEEF
The ideal candidate is familiar with Waredaca and horse trials held at the farm, is active in the sport of eventing, is familiar with the classic format, and knowledgeable in various social media platforms and trends.
