This little boy, whom we’ve named Charlie, is just 5 weeks old and weighs only 2.5 pounds. He's nothing but skin and bones, struggling under the weight of a severe worm infestation. This sweet soul is a victim of a cruel breeder who neglected the medical needs of the mother and her puppies in a greedy pursuit of profit. Because of this negligence, Charlie is battling extreme anemia, dehydration, and severe malnourishment. He requires intensive medical care, and every day is a fight for survival. Dexter This 18 week old akc lemon color beagle baby is a sweet, smart, and amazing puppy. Dexter is pad trained, kennel trained, and is full of puppy energy. He loves playing with other dogs, cats unknown. He has no food, treat, or toy aggression. Dexter is currently free roam at his foster home. He learned the doggy door the first day, responds when called, and loves to play in water. He loves to snuggle with foster mom at night and has been the perfect house guest. Ohh, just wait to hear his "bark".. It's the best. Dexter wants us to find him a fun-loving, active family with a fenced-in yard, preferably another dog to play with. EXCITING NEWS Our special needs baby Lola, who was going to be killed by her "breeder" in the valley is getting the amazing opportunity to go to Laughing Dogs Lounge in New Jersey, a special needs non-profit sanctuary. They work with several vets, physical therapists and have custom wheelchairs, prosthesis etc made for each dog. They even make their dog food. We cannot wait to see her progress and hope they are ready for her- she is a force to be reckoned with! She loves life and has no clue she is any different than any other puppy. It was not an easy decision as Lola has and always will hold a special place in our hearts and everyone who meets her instantly loves her, however we also know what an amazing opportunity this is for her. Laughing Dogs Lounge is a very small non-profit, most of the dog’s care is paid for by the couple that care for these special needs babies. **🐾 Meet June Carter – Your Future Furry Best Friend! 🐾** Hi there! I'm June Carter, a spirited mixed breed, medium-sized pup eagerly waiting for my fur-ever home. I'm on the hunt for an active family ready to play and have fun with me. I'm great with kids, cats, and I absolutely adore playing with my foster pup siblings. While I enjoy lounging around watching TV and YouTube for some tunes and background noise, I’m also a huge fan of belly rubs, cuddling up in blankets, and taking naps. But don’t be fooled—I’m a curious, fearless, and sometimes feisty little adventurer. I have TONS of energy! A thrilling game of tug-of-war or running around as much as possible is my idea of a great time. I especially love watching the chickens strut around their coop—those strange-looking pups fascinate me! My foster mommy says I have two settings: Off. And full blast!
