Hey there! My name is Cocoa, and I’m a loving, attention-seeking sweetheart with a heart full of love to give. 💖 Most of the time, I’m as mellow as can be, but I’d absolutely love an active family to take me on exciting adventures! 🐾✨

Here’s a little about me:
🐶 I’ve completed my heartworm treatment (good riddance, pesky houseguests!)
🏡 I’m potty trained and do great in a kennel. Although I'm super chill and would never chew anything.
🐾 I’ve lived with other dogs and cats before, but let’s be honest… I’m ready to be the apple of your eye and soak up all the cuddles just for myself! Since I've been fostered alone for some time now, I prefer it.
🚗 I LOVE car rides and stopping for pup cups – it’s the highlight of my day!
💤 At night, you’ll find me snuggling in bed with my foster humans, dreaming of my forever family.

While I adore children, I sometimes forget my own strength and might be a little much for the tiniest humans. But don’t worry – with a little patience and time, I’ll warm up to anyone (especially if there are treats involved). 🦴🍪 My current foster is, well several dog years young, and she handles me.

UPDATE

We’ve had a busy couple of days, but here’s where we’re at:

We were able to rescue momma and 5 puppies, but there are still 4 puppies on someone’s property that we couldn’t access. Additionally, dad is very frightened and ran to hide, so we’re actively looking for a trapper or darter to help bring him to safety.

Mom is with Texas Rags to Riches Rescue as well as dad as soon as we catch him.

A huge thank you to everyone who stepped up and came out to help! We’ll continue going back until all the dogs are safe.

The past 48 hours have been wild, and I’m still on the road delivering puppies to their fosters, so please be patient with my responses.

A family of Great Danes have been left behind at an abandoned home that looks to have, at one point, caught fire.

What we know is there are 6 puppies, mom and dad.

We need a foster for 4 puppies and dad. we believe we have a foster for 2 puppies and mom. However, we can’t take until we have the whole family covered. NO ONE LEFT BEHIND

We will only give out location to a reputable rescue who can help.

Sophia is a 7-year-old sweetheart who was rescued from an abusive situation 5 years ago and adopted by the most loving family. With their patience and care, she has blossomed into the most affectionate, gentle, and happy girl, living the life she always deserved.

Now, Sophia’s family is facing a heartbreaking challenge. Sophia has been suffering from seizures that won’t stop, and after spending $6,000 on tests and treatments, the family has been told that she needs an MRI to figure out what’s causing them.

Her family has given her so much love and care, but they can’t afford the additional cost on their own. They’ve never asked for help before, but for Sophia, they are reaching out.

Canela has lost all use of her legs since we pulled her from Harris County several years ago.
She'll have grass to go potty once snow starts here in South Texas.

Lil meatball alert...
LeeLou is a sweet, compact little mini bully and really loves snuggling on the couch. She finds comfort in having a doggie companion, which helps her feel less alone. We think she is around 2 years old and currently weighs 27 #.

Leelou does not like kennels or enclosures, and she LOVES human attention - likely because she has been deprived of it for so long.
LeeLou enjoys spending her days on the couch, romping around with other foster dogs, or chilling outside.
This girl went from being found on the streets to treasured and loved in a foster home.
LeeLou is house and pad trained, walks on a leash, loves to go for car rides, dog, cat, and people friendly.

LeeLou has her spay appointment next Tuesday and she will be ready to find herself a family to spoil her rotten.
