Our Story

Owner of Carol's Pet Sitting & Dog Walking. I am properly insured & bonded, I serve the Leavenworth/Lansing/Fort Leavenworth area. I am a member of Pet Sitters International since 2006, American Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified & a member of the Leavenworth/Lansing Women's Chamber. Most of my clients are active duty & retired military. Most of my client’s I’ve had for 10 years that I walk daily. Lunch time visits & dog walks are my core visits. Before the pandemic, I usually had 1 out of town client or more at a time. I do take care of cats & dogs around the clock if you travel away from home. Cat’s get lots of attention too and love to play with our toys! House sitting is also something we offer - water gardens and flower beds and refresh bird feeders.

I’m deeply connected to the community as a Board Member of LAWS (Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society), licensed foster home and Volunteer coordinator. I’ve volunteered for 20 years at the local animal shelter through LAWS. I’ve actually adopted 3 of my pets from the Leavenworth Animal Control Shelter. Caring for pets is what I do, it is my passion. I’ve cared for pets with cancer (some my own), pets that have had strokes, to pets in rehab from orthopedic surgery. I’ve done insulin injections as well. So, I realize and am adept at critical care cases and have long standing relationships with most local veterinarians.

Years ago when my corporate job & entire department were downsized, I took the pet sitting gig full time. I’m so glad I did, I love caring for your furry kids everyday. I am so lucky that I get to spend my days with the best pets in the world!
