This past weekend, not only did she compete at All American Grooming Show with Airedale Blitz in Wire Class (for the second time), she certified through the AKC & the NDGAA and PASSED!!! Jäger and Hannah took 2nd place 🥈today in the Wire Class at All American Grooming Show! Thank you to the amazing Misty Gieczys Igcms Pti for such great feedback and critiques.
It was SO cool to have my two best boys side by side on stage. Heather Booth gave Blitz the most beautiful groom he's ever had. I am beyond proud of her dedication and determination! Katie Slavens is literally THE BEST roadie and show assistant. This is what we live for!

Attention to our Wonderful clients with appointments August 2nd and August 3rd.
Mulberry street will be CLOSED to vehicles starting at 6:00 am 8/2 to midnight 8/3.
The 25th Lebanon Blues Festival will be taking place this weekend and drawing in big crowds for their 25th anniversary.
Be prepared for heavy traffic and longer walk time to get to Barkers for drop-off and pick-up.
Please contact us ASAP if this event affects your dogs' grooming appointment and you would like to reschedule.

The Barkers Crew said goodbye to our beloved Shelly. It's hard to find the right words to express the depth of sadness we feel. She was not just a pet but a cherished member of our family.
Shelly-
Every wag of your tail, every sassy bark, every snuggle to our chests - they are moments we will hold onto forever. You taught us about loyalty, patience, and the purest form of companionship. As we said goodbye, our hearts were heavy with sorrow but also filled with gratitude. We are thankful for the few short years we shared, the memories we made and the love you gave Erika so freely. Rest peacefully, little girl. Until we meet again, know that you are deeply missed and loved 🐾

The hardest part of being a pet care professional is saying goodbye. We love all of our clients as if they were our own. We develope friendships with their humans and relationships with the dogs. Today was Bella's last visit with Kim before she moves to North Carolina. We will miss Bella and her hugs!

The city of Lebanon will be hosting their annual Independence Day Parade on July 3rd. This will be a fun time for you and your family!! However, this means there will be street closures and big crowds. Barkers is located in the middle of the parade route, view the poodle in the parade route. The parade starts at 4:00 pm.
We will be reaching out to clients that may be affected by this event.

It’s summer time! That means the City of Lebanon will be hosting a myriad of festivals and events!

We try to inform all clients that may be affected by Mulberry Street closures and large crowds that may be expected.

June 7th and 8th- is the Lebanon Country Music Festival! https://www.lebanoncountrymusicfestival.com/

Mulberry street will be CLOSED from Cherry street to Broadway.
Expect traffic delays and longer walks to Barkers from public parking lots. Allow extra time for arrival, and contact us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment if you feel rescheduling would be best for you and your pet.
