Almost a decade ago, I had stabilized a pattern in the shrimp I had been crossbreeding. The pattern bred 99% true with maybe one out of 200 not showing the pattern. When I left my abuser in 2017 I sold off my whole colony. It was the one time I didn't use styrofoam on the shipping boxes, and the colony was split between two buyers. The majority perished in shipping. So there were only a handful left out there. An fb friend of mine still had some of the colony though, with no outside genetics introduced so it was still my line! And he sent around 10-20, can't recall. Enough to do something with. Got them in in 2020 and over the years the line was lost due to being in a mixed tank. My fault entirely but i wasnt set up right at the time when I first got back into it. Fast forward to now...only one tank left. The majority being boas, crazy tigers and galaxy shrimp. But i DID save two shrimp that had come from that mixed tank I had running for years. The one that had my line of shrimp in it in 2020. I got back from my trip and turned the light on in the tank and was stunned. Here is my pattern showing back up. And also, not a single red shrimp was in any colony for over 2 years. There are easily 20-30 juvies in here all carrying that pattern. Folks deemed it "Ravensgate's line" because that was my screen name on every forum in the days before facebook. If they survive the next tank move, I might have something to work with again

The batch of shrimplets out of the metallic purple female have been something else. Batch was born light teal, brick red and several were born black, which has never happened to me before with this Boa project. There are 3 of these red oddballs I have found so far, with dark heads. About a month old right now, very excited to see what happens with these. This tank is full of hundreds of babies right now. Sales will be starting back up hopefully in the next few weeks on the Band app.
