🐾 Please read 🐾
I am having to put a new policy in place for no call no show clients.
As many of you have probably gathered I am not paid hourly, my income depends on my clients keeping their scheduled appointments OR calling and letting me know at least 48 hours in advance if they cannot make it. It is very difficult to fill a spot last minute and stay on schedule for the rest of my clients that day, leaving me out of any income I would have made for the time I blocked out for your pup.
With that being said, after ONE no call no show I will request a deposit to keep your next appointment on my book. This can be done over the phone or a invoice sent to your e-mail. It will be half of the cost of the service you are scheduled for, with the other half to be paid upon pick up of your pet on his/her appointment day.
I hate to do this but this business is how I support my family and keep the shop up and running.

September 7th: Closing at 1:00
September 14th-25th: Closed

These are for personal appointments and there will be no exceptions to these changes. I have to keep myself healthy so I can continue to spoil your pups! ❤️🐾

Good Afternoon! Just a quick announcement regarding the coming weeks at The Doggie Salon.
🚨 PLEASE READ! 🚨
As the weather warms up lots of people are looking to get thier dogs groomed! I am currently booked until late July with a lengthy waiting list that is growing every day! I am so blessed to be able to stay so busy doing what I love 🐾❤️ With that being said please keep in mind I am a one woman show, which as you can imagine keeps me very busy. Please be patient with the occasional extended groom time, return call time, any wait times for walk-in services or inability to provide a walk-in service at that particular time. Every second of my work day is acounted for during this busy season and your understanding and cooperation means the world!

This event will be from 9 a.m to 1 p.m ONLY.

*If your dog is aggressive towards people or other dogs please arrange for another time to bring them as there will be possibly a wait and other customers in the lobby.

✨Update on Elaine✨
She had her staples removed today and a check up. The doctor said everything looks good! Still some bruising and scabs but she will be 100% in no time. Thank you again to Tetta Vet and to my wonderful clients. 🐾❤️

I would like to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the outpour of support I have received from all of my clients over the incident with Elaine. The phone calls, text messages, hugs, prayers and one client even contributed to her vet bill which was so unexpected and unbelievably kind. You all have no idea how much each one meant to me. I’m very blessed to have the clients I have, you all are like family and I truly appreciate all of you. Thank you so much. ❤️

I would like to give a HUGE shoutout to Terra Vet for saving my sweet girl Elaine.
If you have ever been to my salon and stayed to chat I’ve most likely told you about my sweet old bichon Elaine, last night she was attacked by a dog that was dumped at our house about a month ago and we chose to keep. It was totally unprovoked and we aren’t sure why it happened but Elaine’s wounds were very bad, in a rush to the emergency vet in Springfield, I was frantically calling local vets just praying one would pick up, and when I called Terra Vet I was met by a very sweet woman on the other end who said “bring her right in”. They were ready to get started as soon as I got there, treating her wounds and taking wonderful care of her, carefully explaining to me exactly what they were doing and why and answering all of my millions of repetitive questions as I was still in shock and trying to process everything. They took wonderful care of her overnight and she was sent home with very clear instructions and an invitation to call or bring her in should I have any questions or concerns. She has a long road ahead of her but without the amazing staff at Terra I wouldn’t have my sweet Lanie Girl at home today ❤️
