Today, I’m introducing myself! As you’d expect with an animal care taker like myself, I’m introducing myself after my pets 🤗😅😋

My name is Samantha and I’m a life long animal lover! I’ve always had pets as long as I’ve been alive. I grew up with a parent being a veterinarian and learned a lot! I finally got myself into the veterinary business as an adult and am a trained veterinary assistant! I, however, decided to move in a different direction after the birth of my daughter.

Still wanting to care for pets, work, but also spend every possible second I can with my first biological child. I am now working for myself caring for animals full time along side my daughter! I’m so lucky, every day brings us joy through these animal experiences.

As a full time mother, life long animal lover and motivated entrepreneur, I can guarantee your pet will be safe with me! I love keeping my clients up to date and I prioritize communication with every booking. Pet photography also makes me really happy so I share photos of your pet during every booking, too!

I’m posting another pet of mine today, Modest!
Modest is my 10 year old Uromastyx. She’s shockingly large and equally shockingly low maintenance and sweet.
Modest loves belly rubs and blueberries. She’ll also eat dried lentils as a treat.
Regularly, I feed Modest organic spring mix with a random variation here and there like Belgian endive or Radicchio.
Modest enjoys an extremely hot environment and she does a form of lizard hibernation during winter called “brumating”. Usually during Spring, but sometimes randomly, Modest will lay one to two dozen infertile eggs. It’s at this time, once a year, where she drinks water.

Introducing: Oscar!

Oscar is my sweet kitty boy who is polydactyl and likes to socialize on his terms. Oscar’s age isn’t known as he lived at my home before me (left by previous tenants to live outside). However, I’ve had him for seven years and every year our bond gets stronger. Oscar’s endured surgeries to have cancerous lumps removed. Every time he’s grown a closer bond with his family. It’s so rewarding seeing his trust grow💜 He has kitty asthma and snores in his sleep. He gets picky with his wet food sometimes so we go back and forth between pate and morsels in gravy. Oscar also will sit for treats and loves to sit by your side and enjoy a squeezable cat treat. At night Oscar gets his little toys out and runs the house. During the day, we can find Oscar in one of five sleeping areas or playing with Layla. Yes, the dog and cat are nearly equal sized competitors that play fight, it’s adorable 🥰

Meet my dog, Layla!
Layla is my 5 year old Boston Terrier.
She’s my sweet and silly girl. She can do lots of fun tricks, she’s very food motivated, she’s doesn’t like having her nails trimmed or letting her paws in mud or puddles. Layla loves toys and treats, kids, playing, and a good snuggle❤️
