We have gotten our second shelter out! This shelter was kindly donated all set up! This shelter houses one cat, that being Mama Sage. We spayed Mama Sage back in August and trapped her kittens. She has three kittens: Yarrow, Poppy, and Juniper. Yarrow is currently at Safehaven and up for adoption! Poppy and Juniper are in a foster home being socialized 🤗

Today is a very sad day.
Unfortunately, we had to euthanize Adira after careful consideration. Her conditions included severely high risk of spread to other felines, and careful treatment that would have been next to impossible for a feral. She also would have had to undergo the socialization process which would have profoundly negative effects on her healing journey. She tested FIV and FeLV positive, had countless ulcers in her mouth and also had a very servery contagious upper respiratory virus called Calisivirus. Extremely underweight, and extremely weak.
Today was not easy for us. We committed to trapping her weeks ago, and have grown to love this little sweetheart. This industry is incredibly hard, and takes careful decision making. Please send love, as we have had to say goodbye to this sweet girl.

We are in need of donations. We have an appointment this Monday for 4 cats. Tomorrow Faith with be attempting to trap pretty boy and Cynder (from Freyja's colony), and 2 twins from Adira's colony.
We're still working on Adira. We had her netted and scuffed, however she was escaped during the transfer. Faith has been checking in on her. She's back with her colony and trying to stay warm. Faith has continued to try and catch her, but has had no success.
We have another injured kitty on our hands as well. Golden Boy, who is apart of Freyja's colony and we got neutered in August is limping. Golden boy was limping in the summer on his front paw and was examined, the vets didn't see anything. Now he is limping in his back paw and is not putting any pressure on it, he seems to be in quite a bit of pain.
Any financial help for all the kitties we're helping would be greatly appreciated! Thank you to all our supporters!

Sweet Adira remains untrapped. Today we bought a net to trap her with. Faith has done everything she can with the live and drop traps, but it's time to get this little girly and get her to the vet ASAP. We have an appointment for her next Wednesday. Please send out all luck, hope and love for us! And in the meantime, if you'd like to help us fundraise, visit our page to find our post about Faith's yummy cakes in a jar. All proceeds go to the cause. ❤️ 😺

Adira running away from me.
We're trying to borrow a net in order to trap her. As she has not been interested in food. I don't think she can smell or hear very well. Faith has been able to sneak up on her and get very close, which is why we think a net would be best

We have a special announcement! Mama Kiki (KeeNala) has given birth to one beautiful baby girl! That’s not all though! Earlier today, we had an anonymous donor call in and say that they will match up to $500 worth of donations (for a total of $1,000) for any donations made to help Mama Kiki and her baby get the medical care and supplies they need. If there’s any extra leftover, we are able to use that for the other cats and their expenses. If you’d like to make a donation for Mama Kiki and her baby, you can go to our website, Venmo or GoFundMe. Please leave a note indicating that you are donating for Mama Kiki and her baby so we know the total amount that we can match. Thank you so much to everyone who has already sent in nursing mama and baby cat food or sent in donations to help us care for Mama Kiki and her baby during this crazy time. We are still very financially strained after the move so we really appreciate all the help we get from this wonderful community so we can keep doing what we do! Just a reminder that we are a 501c3 nonprofit now too so all donations made are considered tax exempt!

Faith tried trapping Adira on Monday and was unsuccessful. Hoping to trap her tomorrow! We're still raising funds for her medical care and supplies for while we have her.

Adira is 2 yrs old, the size of a kitten, delayed, and her tongue does not retract into her mouth.
We are planning on getting her fixed at alpine animal hospital and having an exam done. A spay is $125 and the examination fee is $80. We are currently raising funds for this to be done as soon as possible.
Once we have an estimate from her procedure we will continue to fundraise.

Ways you can support Adira:

-You can donate to our Alpine Animal Hospital cat rescue account. You may do this by calling 541-752-7747 and dialing 1 to speak to a receptionist.
