We are beyond grateful to Veterans K9Equine Alliance, a remarkable Connecticut 501(c)(3) nonprofit, for their unwavering support and generous donation that is bringing Gump and Beau back to the V.E.T.S. family! ❤️ These two incredible program horses have a special place in our hearts, having previously worked in our program before supporting the amazing work at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding,. Now, thanks to the Veterans K9Equine Alliance, they are returning home to help us continue our mission of serving veterans through equine therapy.

At Shootin Star, we know that healing takes many forms. For some of our veterans, the calm and connection of horseback riding offers a unique path to peace and well-being. Horses have a way of helping us reconnect with ourselves, find balance, and ease the challenges of life.

To all the veterans who have served with courage and sacrifice, we salute you. We are grateful for your dedication, and we are proud to support your journey, whether on horseback or through the bonds you create along the way.

We had a successful day at Equine Affaire yesterday. SmartPak had a buy 4 get 1 free ulcerguard!

After some time at another farm, we're bringing Beau back to us. To make his return possible, we need your help covering his medical care and transportation costs.

We have a few fundraisers in the upcoming months. We have awarded 2 more therapeutic scholarships to well deserving young individuals. Please consider supporting us so we can keep these students with horses!

☕️November: Stirrups & Steaming Cups coffee & tea fundraiser. You will be able to order for in person pickup, or online if you live far away!
👞December/January: Horse Shoes; donate your used shoes to us to recycle! We will take any kinds including boots, sneakers & heels!
