🚨New services for 2024🚨

We love our beginner lessons and plan to continue a small number of them, but we feel that we have so much more to offer! In the 20+ years that I have been riding, I have ridden tons of different horses in several different disciplines/events. From open/local shows, to breed shows, to world championships and national level shows, I’ve done them all and would love to use that experience to help riders achieve their goals, no matter what they may be.

Registered miniature Texas longhorn heifer looking for a new pasture! “Fancy” was born 5/22. Parents are both registered and on site, shown in last picture. She is a great prospect for a breeding program looking to produce small calves. Would also make a great show prospect. She is friendly and has been socialized. Please message us if interested.

Super late post but we had the best time at our horse camps last week! On day 1 we learned the basics of riding and on day 2 we put these skills to the test with some pattern work. We also learned how to properly take care of a horse and ended each day with some fun crafts. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

On Wednesdays we wear pink 💕 and practice showmanship. If you know our horses, you know Rita isn’t an easy lesson pick, but so proud of this girl’s determination to figure her out!

We have about FIVE lesson spots left for the entire month of May! Please go ahead and message us if you want to grab one of these before they fill up. We will not have any lessons from June 5-20 but then will be back to normal after that.

Starting May 1 we are going to be *temporarily* limiting our weekly lesson spots. We have some things going on at the farm and are preparing our horses for finals so we are not going to be able to do lessons 4-5 days a week like we currently do. This will last until mid June and then we will be back full force with lessons for the summer ☀️

For our current clients, this will not change your future lessons or affect your packages! Please message us if you want to go ahead and get on the schedule as it is filling up fast!

We had the best time hosting the Starnes Clearing and Starnes Trucking work party this weekend. It was a night full of fellowship, great food from Riley's On Main, and live music from Robbie Cockrell Music. We hope everyone had a great time!! If you’ve been out to see us you’ve probably heard us talking about ranch sorting and team penning. While we do not have the option to incorporate these events into our riding lesson program (maybe one day 🤞🏼), we want to be able to share our love for the sport and introduce new people to it. If this is something you are interested in trying or having your kid try, please let us know!! This year we will be hauling an extra horse to all of the shows we attend and would love to be able to “rent” them for the day for anyone who wants to give it a try!

We are hoping this gives our clients, and even non-clients, an opportunity to try out the sport even if they do not own a horse (or don’t have a horse that will work around cows 🐮)

Feeling extra grateful and joyful this Christmas Eve as I clean stalls, bust frozen water troughs, and refill hay for what feels like the 100th time in the last two days, knowing this is the kind of place God chose for his Son to enter the world✝️🎄
