It saddens me to say but for awhile I can NOT do any intakes unless you are willing to foster for awhile. I have over 60 dogs in my rescue at 2 locations. Adoptions are slow. I have no space and it's alot financially feeding 60 dogs. In order for me to have my rescue fully set up at the new location I have to get my numbers down and clear my building I have on my property. My daughter helps with my rescue in the afternoons but shes a senior and she needs to enjoy her senior year. I have a bleeding heart for animals but I am now exhausted. My day starts at 330am with rescues then my full time job and ends at 930pm with rescues. Somewhere I need to fit in family and church.. it's not fair to dogs I've had over a year. I need to work harder on getting them their home. Larger dogs are harder now to find homes..please Please please do not message me about intake. I won't be able to help. All rescues are full. I wish Spay and Neuter was a law with a fine so it would stop this epidemic that is going on because people are dumping animals every day now. It's so sad. I am working on getting all mine posted on my Facebook and Adoption sites. By Saturday they all will be posted.. I have puppies and small, medium and large dogs. Whatever your looking for I guarantee I have your baby waiting for you...

I'm trying to start a new program. Rescue Night/Weekend Outing. I'd like to give my rescues a night out of the kennels. I'm looking for people to volunteer randomly to take in one of my rescues for a night or the weekend. This would give u a chance to volunteer and spend some time with a cutie and it would give my rescue an opportunity to be out of the kennel environment and in a home to be spoiled. Believe me I spoil them but this would give them a better chance at finding their forever home!
Another program I'd like to start is Rescue day out with a Soldier. A Soldier living in the barracks stated it gets depressing on the weekends sometimes and would love to have a dog companion on the weekends. What a great idea! Although I can't implement that due to post policy I can start a Rescue day out with a Soldier. A Soldier can take one of my rescues out to Toledo bend for the day, or to a cookout or to a park. In return I'd love for you to post on my page pictures and comments about my rescue so it gives them an opportunity to be seen in a home environment instead of in a rescue environment. Their would be a form to fill out of course to ensure the safety of my rescues. Please Please share so we can get both these programs out there...

What an amazing event this morning that BJACH hosted. Mrs Graves out did herself.. Dog Days of Summer walk and awareness. I took a few dogs available for adoption and the Soldiers loved it and so did my babies. I left with adoption intrest and people who want to volunteer with my rescue! A Soldier gave me a great idea. A dog foster program for Soldiers that live in the barracks on the weekends. When your a single Soldier weekends can get a little boring and depressing but fostering a dog for the weekend woukd be great moral.. I'm going to work on pitching this idea!

Please understand I am a rescue and all animals are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, heartworm treatment if needed and on prevention before adoption. I do not adopt animals for breeding. Especially pitties.. we have enough homeless puppies in this world without adding more to it...
