Today we received a distress message and luckily Jamie was quick to intercept and took in this gorgeous, very lucky 2lb ball of floof! This little one was dropped by an Eagle in Dundee! She was dirty and super hungry, but seems great otherwise. Welcome to Safe, Ava! She has been given dewormer, capstar and yummy food and water. She was bathed and had some drying time in the incubator to dry her long fur. She absolutely loves Iams kitten pate and dry food. Rosalina’s Surgery
Rosalina came to our rescue in the later summer with an injured leg. She went to the vet and diagnosed with nerve damage. She had to wait until she was at least 6 months and healthy for her leg amputation and spay. She has now reached that time and her surgery is scheduled for February 18th at Tecumseh Vet. Donations are super needed as the cost is around $1,000! You can donate directly to the vet by calling their office. You can also mail a check, Venmo, PayPal or cashapp.
