Snow day at Barkmore. Pups had a great time!

The amazing Miss Millie turned in her Go Big Orange for some Christmas magic presented by Amber the Elf! 🎄

We aren’t carving wooden trains here at the salon like at Santa’s workshop, but we are carving candy canes into fur with our ✂️

Only four more days until Christmas 🎄

Amber the Elf will return after the holidays- for now all the magical dog transformations are complete until after the New Year!

Rocky came on for a little Christmas spiffy-up! Deputy Rocky is just so special- one of Amber’s original clients all the way from the beginning! We love Rocky here at Barkmore and he sure enjoyed all the Christmas love.

Howard…Howdy Doodle is the heart throb of the salon with his sweet and boisterous personality. Such a sweet boy who can steal your heart with his eyes.

Nyla is sporting the first candy-Christmas themed bandana! She was super pleased to see all her treats at the end of her groom today.

Thor managed to snag one of those list minute Christmas spots, and boy are we glad!! Because look how handsome this little man is!

Pluto is super suspicious of this Santa Man and he doesn’t care if he has treats or not! Every intruder deserves a bark and Pluto will make sure everyone knows this Santa character is lurking about.

&&Finally Queen of Christmas Lexie is allowing all the royal subjects of ChristmasTown Bask in her majestic glory. She is the festive fatale!

Oh my goodness!

Miss Abs is completely shocked to hear she is on the Nice List this year! How could she not be, being as cute as she is?

Lizzie thinks checking the list twice might be a mistake, and perhaps it’s all fine the way it is. No need to double check it, please!

&&Mr. Snoop is positive that Santa has made the right choice, he is a good boy for sure!

&&Finally, Mr. Murphy is thrilled to be here. One of Amber’s first ever clients, this sweet old man has coming to the salon for a looooong time and is always a crowd favorite with his sweet disposition and generally excitement just to be hanging out at Barkmore.

Modeling our newest Christmas wear handcrafted by Amber the Elf.

You know, sometimes we get requests to hold off on bandanas, notions, and other festoonments. We honor these requests when pet parents decline them, but I have to say…

Even if you would rather us hold back and not give them one, sometimes, they don’t let us. Everyone of these beautiful ladies LIT up like ✨ stars ✨ in the night sky when they see they are presented with ribbons and kerchiefs and bobbles.

We have some dogs who aren’t supposed to get bandanas, but because they shriek with happiness at the sight of them, their parents have granted me permission to still give them.

Sometimes a medical condition can get in the way, but as long as a pet parent knows how much a dog loves their end of groom prize- we try to always make every dog feel rewarded and special with their pretty tokens.

Can you believe it’s only 13 days away??

The holidays have been sneaking up on us, but now they are rapidly approaching!

Santa’s work is yet to be done.

Amber the Elf is still at it, however! And when Santa arrives, the puppies shall be snoozing and the Groomers shall be resting!

We had the snowiest morning here at Barkmore Inn and Salon!

And some of the snowiest white doodles!! Miss Riley is ready to audition for the Nutcracker Ballet and Mr. Charlie will soon be off on a snowboarding trip later this month ❄️

Sleigh-riders Teddy and Rosie were not too amused by the slushy falling of snow. Especially not Teddy, who appears terribly inconvenienced by this sudden shift in temperature.
