Due to the high volume of questions and comments on our page, we ask that you contact our facility at 828-572-4535, for assistance. Our amazing staff is prepared to help with pre-screens, adoptions, rabies vaccinations, surrenders, or any enforcement concerns. All lost furry friends in our care are placed on a 96 hour hold, to allow the owner proper time to locate them. We envision the day when Ca

Opa is a 7 month old lab mix who is not only gorgeous but as sweet as they come! She may be shy at first but warms up quickly. She loves to play and chew on all her toys also doesn't mind posing for a picture. Opa is ready to meet her forever family!

Meet these three handsome gentlemen Cosmo, Obid and Tesla. All of these sweet boys have been neutered and are the definition of love. Each one has their own unique personalities, likes and dislikes but the one thing they have in common is the need for affection. They love to play and eat treats but nap time is a plus as well! TODAY IS THE DAY! Santa Claus is coming to Caldwell County Animal Care Enforcement!!

Santa will be here today from 3pm to 6pm with his furry friends!! Come and get your picture taken, have some hot coco, eat yummy Christmas cookies and write your letter for Santa to take back with him to the North Pole!!

Don't forget to make sure you see all the amazing animals at the shelter that are waiting for their forever homes! Dogs are 35$ and Cats are 25$!

We have some very pretty, sweet and loving kitties arrive and are waiting for their forever homes!! Any of these beauties would be perfect for any family that is ready to give them a loving home, along with all the other sweet cats we have available that would love to meet you!
