We have two adult dogs looking for comfy couches!
If you know anyone looking for a sweet dog and want to skip the puppy stage please share!
They are both currently intact, but will be placed on Spay/neuter contracts.
Cheddar is an absolutely amazing 5 year old male. He is SO chill and laid back. He is an English style lab. He prefers human company to other dogs but will get along with any other dog he is with. We call him the Velcro dog- he just wants to be right at your side. He has no health issues at all and OFA good hips and normal elbows. He is dog door and crate trained. We have owned Cheddar for two years. I would consider a breeding home for this guy as long as it’s a forever home.
Maggie is a silver and tan 2 year old female. She is possibly the happiest wiggliest Lab you have ever met. She is so so sweet and just full of life. She would be best suited for an active family due to her age and personality. We have owned Maggie since she was 8 weeks old- we purchased her from a breeder in Illinois. She has never had a litter and will be going on a spay contract. Maggie has CDA which can sometimes occur in dilute colored dogs. Basically her hair breaks off as it grows out so she has a very thin hair coat. The good news is, this doesn’t bother her and can be managed. Melatonin and fish oil supplements can help the coat. She will need to be an indoor dog. Her adoption fee is waived.
So much change in these guys the past few days! Eyes are open, we are walking, and learning to socialize!
Our 🌶 Peppers 🫑 took a Field trip to the vet today! Everyone is healthy and nobody 💩 in the wagon so it’s a good day! 🤣
Well checks! Everyone happy, healthy, and ready to go home this weekend!
We are 4 weeks old! We are up and playing and learning to use the potty area (which graduates to a potty box) and not our bedding! 🙌
We start solid food this weekend too! 🥩
Be on the lookout for new individual pictures! 😃
I haven’t posted an Endymion update on a few days- because things were just pretty stagnant, no better- no worse- just surviving. Then he started vomiting after every tube feeding and I really began to question if I was unnecessarily making this poor little guy suffer. I’ve been in constant contact with the vet and Tuesday evening we both agreed that it may be time to consider euthanasia- as much as it broke our hearts. I had several seemingly instinctively message me to check on him that evening and remind me that they were praying for him. Tuesday evening I put him with his momma at midnight and skipped his 3:00 am feeding hoping by some miracle he would be hungry enough to not regurgitate/vomit his next meal and maybe just maybe try to nurse from momma. I found a perkier happier puppy who tried to nurse from his momma at 6 am the next morning! I don’t think he is strong enough yet to latch- so I figured if he was hungry I should try to tube feed him. He fought me so hard I couldn’t even get the tube in place- (this is a great sign!) so as his littermates were eating their puppy mush I put it into a bowl and he lapped it all up and asked for seconds! This puppy wants to live! He is still unfortunately not out of the woods as we are still dealing with some episodes of regurgitation after feeding and the aspiration pneumonia (it’s very possible he is continuing to aspirate when he vomits) We have him on a different anti nausea medicine now and are keeping him upright after feeding to hopefully stop the episodes. Thank you again for all of your prayers and well wishes for this boy- they are working and truly appreciated! 💙 As I said before- as long as he keeps fighting- so will I!
The 🐉 mythical beasts 🦄 are getting some outside playtime before all the rain comes!
I know everyone is waiting for pictures of the hot potatoes- I’m sorry I haven’t gotten those yet- hopefully tomorrow! Here’s a quick video of them though- all sleepy and content. 🖤
Take a moment just to take it in.:..❤️🥰
Y’all….I had to see what it was all about….I made my first Tik Tok video. 😆🙈
The mythical beasts got their first taste of solid food today! Most of them got it- some just wanted to play in it - and some of them just wore it. 🤣 We are also working on learning to go potty off the bedding area. This potty area will shrink to a litter box gradually and then outside by 5 or 6 weeks so they learn to use the doggy door.
Happy babies (and toddler 😆) 💕😍
