Yesterday I was contacted by a woman who needed her Pomeranian groomed. Her dog was attacked a few weeks ago by a large dog causing a wound and then with healing a messy hair do. So the owner with friends help gave her a home hair cut to try to even it out. Thank goodness they have great sense of humor and can laugh about things. I was so glad to be able to fit this girly in the next day. She was great to do. We had to go super short to get her even but hey short girl summer over here!!!!!

Yesterdays groom! This girl has been turned down by a few local groomers and also chain groomers cause she is very "groomer aggressive"! So of course Sam took on the challenge ..yes I'm crazy we know. Poor girl was matted head to toe. She was in excruciating pain from it causing the excessive aggression. She also has high anxiety which adds to it. So what normally would have taken me 45mins to one hour tops took me over two hours. We were able to get all the mats off and yes she's not perfect looking but we were able to get her pain free and ended up on a happy note playing and kisses. So yes that's a great day I would say! Her mommy was very happy and she will be back in two weeks for her freshen up and reminder appointment that not all groomers are in a rush.

Not all furbabies are able to handle chain groomers or timed groomers as it's a stressful situation. Multiple animals at once, constant dryer noises, dogs barking, it's a lot to handle when you are already anxious. Some babies need quiet home environments with a groomer who will take things at their pace.
