Just a note to say HELLO everyone. We have a barn full of hay and we are ready for this cooler weather heading our way.
I had a chance to visit with one of the local bermuda growers this morning for a few minutes and it is always nice to visit with someone that understands the struggle of supplying the best hay for the customer.
We visited about the cost of him growing and baling and the cost of freight for us to get it here along with the changing prices.
I talked about how important it is with Alfalfa hay to be sure it comes from a state is blister beetle safe and he was amazed that it is so important that you get hay that has no beetles and definitley no dead beetles. He wasn't aware of the damage it does to a horse when they ingest one. We enourage everyone to always know where your hay comes from. Jerry works with the same farms to get you the customer the absolute highest quality hay for the best prices. He works with the trucking companies to find the best rates to get it here. It is always barn kept prior to delivery and tarped during delivery and in the barn when it gets here.
I met a load of Alflafa on the freeway last week not tarped and headed into rain I cringed at the thought of someone getting hay that had been rained on.
We have competetive prices and top quality hay and never run out so keep us in mind for all your Alfalfa hay needs.

Do you know what just drives me INSANE?????
When I see "taking pre orders" or you have to buy a minimum to get hay. WHY??
We don't make you pre order and the only thing we won't do is sale you half a bale!!!!
We keep hay ALL the time the barn doesn't run out. Comes from the same farms, barn kept and is ALWAYS tarped in transport.

Little nippy this morning be sure your horses have the best feed program going early to be ready for the really cold weather this winter.
Our Alfalfa always comes from the same farm(they know what you guys like!!!) It is ALWAYS tarped in transportation and is barn kept.

You will never see us post that we have a load coming and you need to pre order or there is a minimum to buy. If we could sale half a bale I promise you we would to meet your needs but we do try to go above and beyond.

Oh the weather is lovely!!!!!! But hot weather will return and with that let's talk about hay!!!!! ALFALFA HAY!!!!
Our truck ALWAYS tarp from top to bottom very little space left with out tarps.
Our hay ONLY comes from Arizona and New Mexico same farms every delivery.
We keep our prices as low as possible for you the customer.
With all this said, we remind you to always ask questions about the Alfalfa you purchase, there are lots of hay that comes from other states and other states may have the dreaded blister beetles!!!!
So, if someone is helping out and getting hay that isn't coming from the states that have a extremely low to 0 blister beetle population be hay wise, it only takes one to kill a horse.
We keep 3 string, 2 string 21 bale bundles and 3x3 bales all the time, barn is never empty so come see us to keep your horses happy and healthy
