Levelland Animal Friends We are a group of caring folks who are trying to make a difference in Levelland pets' lives. **We are not the Levelland Animal Shelter.

We are a non-profit (501c3) organization. In 2014, Levelland Animal Friends was begun as a group of volunteers trying to make a difference in the life of shelter pets, abandoned and abused animals, and strays in our community. We volunteered at the Levelland Animal Shelter for many years trying to make the lives of the 'kids' a little bit easier by showing them love and compassion. We diligently n

etworked these pets trying to find them forever homes and/or foster homes. Our primary mission changed in 2025 to focus more on spay and neuter education and helping the community in funding their pets' spay and neuter surgeries if assistance is needed. We also are focused more on helping pets in our community. Our biggest hope is that in the current pet overpopulation crisis , we will be able to educate the public on the responsibility of pet ownership, the need for all pets to be spayed and neutered, and to end backyard breeding which is one of the main culprits in the population explosion of all shelters and rescues across our country. Our dream is to see all pets in forever, loving homes - no pet needs to be abandoned, abused or neglected. We plan on working toward our goal of seeing all pets cared for and loved!

This is FIGARO ! He needs a forever home quickly...his foster mom is moving. He was found hiding in a car and has been posted on lost and found but no one came forward to claim him. He is very sweet and needs a home to call his own. He is estimated to be 8 to 10 weeks old and eating kitten food with no issues. This is BRUCE! He is an about 7-8 years old German Shepherd male that is available for adoption at the Levelland Animal Shelter. He came into the shelter as a stray and no one has come forward to reclaim him. The shelter states he weighs about 60 lbs. He is very sweet and potty trained. This guy needs out of the shelter and in a home where he can enjoy pets and pampering! This is RAE! She is a Wirehaired Terrier mix female that is available for adoption at the Levelland Animal Shelter. She came into the shelter, along with ARDEN (probably her brother), as a stray and no one has come to claim her so she is now available for adoption. She is about 6 months old according to the shelter folks. She is very sweet and just a little shy. She will make a great companion ! She weighs about 35 lbs. He came into the shelter, along with RAE (probably his sister), as a stray and no one has come to claim him so he is now available for adoption. This is STANLEY! According to the shelter, he is a 1 year old Labrador Retreiver mix male that is available for adoption through the Levelland Animal Shelter. He and his friend, ODIE, came into the shelter together and are now available for adoption. It appears they were surrendered by their owner to the shelter for reasons unknown to us. His weight is listed at 15 lbs. Parvo combo (DAPP) and Bordetella vaccines have been given.
