Did you know dogs have a little โ€œextraโ€ toe called a dew claw? ๐Ÿถ

Itโ€™s located slightly higher up on their leg (like a thumb!) and can help with gripping toys, holding chews, or providing stability when running. Some breeds even have double dew claws!

While some dogs donโ€™t use them much, itโ€™s still important to keep an eye on their dew claws during nail trims to avoid overgrowth or snagging.
