Wild Hearts enjoyed presenting at Art in the Wild Cope Environmental Center

We recently brought our Mobile Teaching Zoo to the residents at Trinity of Beavercreek, and it was a visit filled with unforgettable moments. Our program isn’t just about showcasing animals; it’s about connecting hearts, sparking memories, and engaging minds through storytelling. Seeing residents light up, share laughter, and even shed tears of joy reminded us of the therapeutic power of these interactions. One lady hugged Amanda tightly; others offered small donations, saying, ‘Sorry it’s not more.’ But to us, their gratitude and engagement are priceless. Programs like ours provide a vital touchpoint for seniors, helping reduce feelings of loneliness, inspiring joy, and creating lasting memories. This is why we believe in the power of connection—through every scale, feather, furry tail and story. 💛

Thank you to Happy Child Preschool in Bellbrook for having our Mobile Teaching Zoo visit! We loved teaching them about the animals and even had some big helpers assist Amanda with the program.

Happy 5th Birthday to our African Sand Cat Cassie! She got a birthday gift bag to dive into 1137 times and her favorite Aldi ground turkey. Oh, and a fluffy feather wand that she batted at really fast!

Our evening walk around the pastures with our livestock guarding dog Otji was beautiful. We saw a wild red-tailed hawk squawking at a wild great horned owl too. Otji loves running around the pastures and exploring. The cows came up to the fence and got treats too. #livestockguardiandog #kangal

This past week we welcomed ViaQuest back to Wild Hearts. We strive to create an inclusive environment where individuals with disabilities can engage with our animals and enjoy memorable & fun experiences. 💛

#FFA #FFA24 We welcomed Springfield-Clark CTC FFA Students to Wild Hearts African Farm this morning on their way to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis! They arrived in style in a Dayton Dragons tour bus! During the tour we talked about animal husbandry and nutrition as well as other careers working in zoology. Zoos are agriculture and regulated by the USDA. Thank you for visiting!

It was an enormous amount of hard work and effort, but we are humbled and honored to received this distinctive award in our industry! Conservation - Education - Community Wild Hearts offers unique educational programs focused on conservation to inspire and teach people how they can make a difference to help to save species and ecosystems. Through our outreach programs and personal guided tours, we believe we make our community and our world a better place! We especially love to bring awareness to the challenges that cheetahs face in the wild, as well as help native animals here at home. Read more about owners Amanda & Brian Badger here.

The Wild Hearts Mobile Teaching Zoo can bring the zoo to you YEAR ROUND! We offer educational programs with live animal ambassadors for libraries, birthday parties, nursing homes, schools and more. Our Mobile Teaching Zoo programs start at $225. Our schedule fills up quickly so please book your date early. We travel around the Greater Miami Valley Region of Dayton, Ohio...and sometimes beyond that!

Our Petting Zoo & Farm is available to tour by reservation only. Please visit our website and select Book Now, then choose the day/time and tour option that you would like. For field trip groups over 20, please call us at 937-416-5520 to arrange the booking. We have a comprehensive internship programs and accept interns from across the country. So far we’ve trained over 100 students who have earned over 20,000 service hours here! Apply for an entry level internship here.
