Sharptail Ridge was founded by two southern bird hunters with a passion for the uplands.



Let us take your dog to Montana, get him (or her) ready to hunt, and you join us when you can.

Our team will drive your dog(s) from one of our pickup locations (Orlando, Atlanta, or Nashville) to Sharptail Ridge in Lewistown, MT. Your dog will spend 4 weeks of daily conditioning while learning to hunt wild birds. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a wagging tail on a bird-hunting machine.

Sharptail Ridge has five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a bunk room. Evenings are spent telling lies around the grill, sipping something expensive (or not), and planning the next day's hunt.

We exist to handle the logistics of getting you, your dog, and your gear to Montana. Rather than spend 3 days driving out and 3 days driving home, let us handle it. Don’t bother with checking guns at the airport, they’ll be waiting for you when you arrive.
