Ok guys we’re doing a lot of policy updates in this New Year!! We’ve been having issues with people not being respectful of our time and hard work so this is causing a lot of stress for us at the salon. I would like to apologize in advance to all the wonderful clients that we do have that are always on time and always respectful, but things have to change in order for me to prevent as many of these problems as possible. I have spent days working on our website but I still have lots of work on there to do but I would like to put it out there for all of my customers so that anyone that would like can go on our website and read all of the new info that will be on there. There will be information on drop offs, pick ups, grooming, appointments, payments, prices, etc… It is information that all clients who will be continuing services into this new year will need to know.

In this last year, I have dealt with some of the absolute rudest most inconsiderate client that I have came across in my 18 years of running a business in Davidson county! It disappoints me so much to see how people treat someone that cares for their animal or animals and how disrespectful people can be when the problem typically lies within themselves. So just as this is a new year, people will be seeing a new me because I am putting my foot down. If you can not be considerate of my time, and my energy and my hard work, you will no longer remain a client of mine. I’ve been a groomer for almost 26 years (as of my birthday 3/21/24) and never have I had to deal with the things I’ve had to deal with over the last year from customers. I don’t know why people these days are so incredibly unreliable. I am a very reliable person. You do not see days that my salon is just closed for no reason I haven’t had a Saturday off unless it has fell on a holiday in almost 12 years, so would that being said if I can be there for my customers for all these years And be dependable to them, They are going to have to start learning how to do the same in return if they are going to continue to be a client at my salon.!! People have told me for years that I am too nice and let people run over me and I know I have but that STOPS NOW!! I’m a good person and I do my job well and I’m just too a point where I’m done working myself to death and if people want me to be their groomer they will have to understand the way things will operate from now on! Like I said, I do apologize in advance to all the customers that I’ve had for all these years that have never treated me like I was beneath them but in these last couple of years, the amount of clients that treat me the total opposite have grown out of control! The sad part is that most people treat people terrible, and then just bounce around from groomer to groomer continuing treating people badly. I’ve heard from so many groomers that I follow that they are quitting because of people being so terrible to them, and expecting them to work themselves to death taking care of their pets when they can’t do any care at home and expect you to work miracles. Well, I’m not going to let people chase me off from what I love doing so to prevent that the rules will be changing and I will not continue service to anyone that can’t treat me or my staff in a professional manner or respect my time!

I don’t typically post things like this but What is it here lately with everyone not bothering to take the time to cancel their grooming appointment if they can’t make it?? Why can’t people understand that my time is just as important just like anyone else’s time’s important!! All it takes is a simple call or text to cancel if you know you can’t make it. Small business seem to get hurt the most by this because we go by appointments! And even one missed appointment can totally mess up our whole day!! So listen up…please be courteous to your small businesses around the holidays especially because small businesses struggle enough without this inconsiderate nonsense!! Sorry rant over!
