🚫🥛 Resist the urge to offer cats milk!

Despite what cartoons and movies might suggest, milk isn’t a treat for most cats—it can actually cause digestive issues. 🐾 Many cats are lactose intolerant, meaning their digestive systems can’t properly break down dairy, which can lead to diarrhea and discomfort.

If you want to treat your feline friend, try something cat-friendly like:
🐱 A small piece of cooked chicken or fish
🐱 Store-bought cat treats

Remember, fresh water is all your cat truly needs to stay hydrated! 💧 Let’s keep our kitties happy and healthy by sticking to what’s best for them.

Gracie🤎

Gracie is an 8 year old Boxer mix. This sweet old lady was abandoned and is now looking for a final forever home! She would love a house with a comfy couch for her to lay on. She absolutely loves eating snacks! 🎁

Gracie would love a home of her own for Christmas. This sweet senior doesn’t want to spend any more time in the shelter than she needs to! She is dog selective and appears to prefer submissive male dogs. A meet and greet is required for other pups in the home. 🐶 She appears to be mostly potty trained but needs let out frequently. She walks super well on leash and is a delight to adventure with! She also adores children.🎄

Gracie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Come meet this sweet lady and take her on a trial! 🐾🎀

Look at this absolute handsome boy!🤩

Graham is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix. He is very much a typical cattle dog and has quite a bit of energy! He absolutely loves attention and cuddles! He makes a great family dog! He adores children of all ages! He also does well with other dogs, but is protective of small kiddos and tries to keep other pups away from them. So he may need some training for his resource guarding! He has met dogs of all sizes and done well! 🐶

Graham is fully potty trained and walks amazing on leash. He knows some basic commands and is overall a perfect boy! He also rides well in the car.🐾

ZuZu had her 2nd medicated bath tonight and she is already doing so much better. All of her scabs came off before her 10 minute soak was complete. Hopefully, they are gone for good and she is on the road to recovery.

ZuZu's surgery to have her large mammary tumor, dental and spay isn't until January 20th. If there is someone interested in adopting ZuZu, she is healthy enough to go into a foster to adopt home. Otherwise, she won't be ready for adoption until February. Just something to think about.
