We have been busy here at Pawgwarts and haven’t been posting much, but we just wanted to take a minute to say congratulations to Teresa and Javier for earning your CGC yesterday! Javier is working toward becoming a therapy dog and we just know he will do great! ☺️

As some of you know, we have been fostering Brody through Australian Shepherds Furever a 501c3 non profit. He is a sweet boy who loves running, learning, and attention from his people. He has been making great progress in his training and he would love to find a home where he can thrive! Ideally, he would love an active family (without small children) who enjoy hiking and exploring.

We’re continuing to work on his training, but he’s already shown that he has what it takes to be a great companion. If you’re interested in meeting Brody, please reach out so we can arrange a time with you! If you are interested in adopting Brody, you can put in an application here:

🐾Private Lessons
At Pawgwarts, we provide personalized, one-on-one dog training sessions designed to suit the needs of both you and your dog. Whether training takes place at your home, a park, or another public setting, our focus is on building your dog’s confidence, teaching obedience, and addressing behavioral challenges. From problem-solving specific issues like leash pulling or reactivity to improving focus and recall, we tailor each session to help strengthen your relationship with your dog and set you both up for success.

Our boarding services offer a safe, loving, and comfortable home-away-from-home for your dog while you’re away. Located in Limington, our home provides a calm and secure environment where your dog will be treated like family. Your pup will enjoy individual attention, regular exercise, and a stress-free experience, ensuring they feel happy, cared for, and relaxed throughout their stay. Whether you’re going away for a few nights or longer, you can rest assured that your dog is in good hands.

🐾Daycare (Coming Soon!)
Exciting news – we’ll soon be launching our daycare services! Pawgwarts daycare will offer your pup a safe and structured place to play, exercise, and socialize with other carefully selected dogs in small, compatible groups. We aim to create a positive and enjoyable experience where your dog can thrive while maintaining their safety and well-being. Our daycare will provide the mental stimulation and physical activity your pup needs, leaving you with a happy and tired dog at the end of the day.

Brody is enjoying his first snow day of the season at Pawgwarts ❄️ Tomorrow also marks two weeks since we started fostering Brody, and it’s time for his sorting ceremony. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Pawgwarts! 🦃

Today, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the dogs that make our lives so much better. They remind us to find joy in the little things and to live in the moment.

This Thanksgiving, we’re especially grateful for the opportunity to work with amazing dogs and their humans. Helping your dogs grow and learn has been a privilege.

We’re also thankful for the incredible dogs who are part of our own team—Jack, Comet, Link, Kai, Zeus, and Mako. Each one brings something special to Pawgwarts, and they inspire us every day. And this year, we’re especially thankful for the chance to give Brody a second shot at the life he deserves. 💞

Today we introduced Brody to “place”. This teaches Brody to stay on a designated spot until released, helping him learn to settle and practice impulse control. This skill is beneficial for situations where he needs to remain calm, like during mealtimes, when guests arrive, or in busy environments. 🐾
