Greater Lincoln Obedience Club Committed to training you to train your dog. As an all volunteer organization we thrive on the support of our members and the love we all share for our dogs.

The Greater Lincoln Obedience Club was founded in 1963 and today, is a comprehensive training club and has been teaching people how to train their dogs for over fifty-eight years. We are an American Kennel Club (AKC) sanctioned club and offer both AKC obedience and agility trials several times throughout the year here in Lincoln, NE. We also host Canine Performance (CPE)trials in Scent Work and Ag

ility. We have an active membership of approximately 100 people and their dogs, many of whom actively compete in a wide variety of dog related activities including obedience, agility, scent work, flyball, tracking, and therapy dog work. We are very proud of the accomplishments of our members, several of whom hold national titles in obedience and agility. Several of these members share their expertise with our students actively teaching obedience and agility classes at Greater Lincoln Obedience Dog Club. Our instructors are committed to excellence in teaching you to train your dog. We offer classes from “puppy manners” to training you to help your dog adjust to a new baby in the family, beginning, intermediate, advanced, and competition-ready classes for obedience, agility, scent work, and fly ball. We offer something for everyone - fun- recreation - competition - and more! We are committed to training and mentoring the next generation of dog fanciers and therefore have assisted 4-H programs in obedience and agility. Each summer the Greater Lincoln Obedience Club helps with the 4-H obedience and agility competitions at the Lancaster County Fair. We also host an open class obedience, rally, and agility competition at the Lancaster County Fair for non 4-H members and adults. Hey all don't forget about the GLOC annual after Thanksgiving CPE Agility trial. Premium is available at https://www.glocdogs.org/. It's a potluck, but there will be pulled pork available both days. So buns, sauce, chips and/or Thanksgiving leftovers and desserts are welcome. Looking forward to see you in a couple weeks.

For many dogs, running through a tunnel can be challenging, but it may be essential if you plan on furthering their training and agility. Mastering the tunnel can also be a fun activity for you and your dog.

With a little time and patience, you can teach your dog to run through a tunnel, and we’d love to help!

We had such a fun time at the Capital Humane Society’s Trunk or Treat last weekend! 🐾🎃

We loved helping a bunch of dogs work through the agility tunnel for their first time. And of course, we enjoyed seeing all the wonderful costumes! It was hard to pick our favorite.

We had our summer picnic as one last hurrah at our old building. Our members and their dogs had a great time. The dogs went hotdog bobbing while their parents ate some of the wonderful food brought by the members. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Now we open a new chapter for our club as we move to our new building in Air Park. Reminder that all classes will now be held at 4130 NW 37th St
