Remember when I mentioned things do not always go as planned when on vacation and to make sure you have trustworthy and reliable pet sitters?

Let’s talk about early departure or late arrivals….
My most recent clients when returning home from being away, were very delayed. Due to no fault of their own, they missed their flight after being in security lines for hours… they were forced to take another flight arriving at a different airport than their car was at (over an hour away) and they had to pay $100’s for a rental vehicle just to get to their own car at the original air port.
While dealing with this headache of a situation, they worried most about their fur babies. They were concerned that they would be kept in a crate all night past the scheduled time of my care and would have accidents and miss their dinners.
When I got the phone call update about their situation, I made sure I was available to be there under urgent circumstances. I did not charge catastrophic late fees, and the pups were not in their crates all night.
Instead, they got lots play time; inside and out! Lastly but not least, the pups got their dinner and snuggles while they patiently waited for mom and dad to come home.
So this is why it’s important to have trust in your pet sitters and know that they will always do what’s right by your pets whenever possible.
I will always meet your pet’s needs and accommodate their routines to the best of my ability even if your schedule changes and you may have to leave sooner or get home later.
