I’m long overdue for another update.
I apologize for anybody’s messages that I haven’t answered. I have had lots of puppy inquiries and I haven’t been doing a very good job at keeping up.
Six months ago, we got the news that we had been waiting for. It was time to get John listed on the transplant list! We didn’t see it coming that soon, and I had actually just completed 2 breedings to Meadow and Cricket. 18 hours after John was officially listed we got the call that they had a set of lungs and to get to Boston. Several hours later, John was in the OR receiving his gift of life. Things went great and he surprised us all by getting released just 2 weeks later. It has been a long, slow recovery, with a few setbacks along the way. But slowly and surely we are getting there. It has been an exhausting time with many trips to Boston!
In the middle of all that, Cricket had a litter of 7 and Meadow had a little of 11!! I never would have gotten through that time with out the help of my 2 best friends ♥️♥️
For now, our breeding plans are on hold. I don’t feel things are stable enough to add any more puppies to our load. I have missed sharing and interacting with everyone, so even though I won’t be adding to my waitlist, I can at least start sharing the dogs and puppies that we do have again 🐾
