Had a visit from this special girl today…
Bogan has been busy in her retirement. She recently passed her CGC and TDI tests. Tomorrow she has her first visit to a nursing home to start her new career as a therapy dog. She is the perfect girl for the job and it pleases me to know how much joy that she will bring to others! Great job Heather! You make a great team ❤️

So proud of our little Nala!
We have worked hard with her training this summer and at 10 months old, she has successfully completed 3 out of 4 legs of her JH title. Looks like we have run out of time this year to finish up, but we will be ready in the Spring to add a title to her name 🦆🦆🦆

Thank you to Frances Leonard Plessner for all the help with training and running Nala in her first Hunt Test this weekend in Connecticut. Nala successfully passed the first leg of her Junior Hunter title.

I want to apologize for my lack of posting and keeping my page up to date.
There has been lots going on here and I am trying to get caught up. Due to the amount of people that got added during Covid and other personal issues, I have to admit that my waitlist is a mess 🤦🏼‍♀️ It is not up to date or accurate. Starr went 4 for 4 over the past couple weekends to complete the requirements for her Junior Hunter (JH) title.

I haven’t shared any information about our last litter because I am not able to add names to my waitlist at this time. However, 6 1/2weeks ago, Aspen did have a litter of puppies. We had just started the process of weaning. Today we ended up bringing home these two little puppies for Aspen to adopt. I’m so proud of Aspen! She has handled it like a champ! We have been pretty much missing in action here at Tucker Brook Labs and I feel that we owe some sort of an explanation...
We are still here, although some things have changed. John was diagnosed with a serious lung disease this past January. Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He will need to have a lung transplant at some point down the road. For now, he is still feeling good. We are trying to cut back on work and make more time to do some of the fun things that we’ve always been too busy to do. We still plan on doing some breeding, but we will be taking it one litter at a time, based on timing and how things are progressing. My list was already pretty backed up, so for now, I have stopped adding names to the list. I will be trying to get to everybody who is currently on my list with any upcoming litters, before I add any more names. Thank you for your understanding 🖤💛🤎
