We have eggs again!!! Eggs can be purchased at the Smoky Valley Dog Center, LLC office. ❤️🥚All eggs are unwashed unless requested otherwise. They need to be refrigerated after washing 🛁

I also have goat’s milk for sale! It is 💵6.00 for 1 gallon of raw, filtered goat’s milk! Please give me a few days heads up if you’d like to purchase as I am getting about 1/2 gallon per day! Legally, you MUST pick up here at the SVDC office! It can only leave the property in my customers’ hands. 🙂

I have a favor to ask… if anyone has old towels, blankets, and puppy pads… I would be more than happy to take them off of your hands!! These guys are going to have to be *in the house* longer than anticipated since they are premature.

After a week or two, they will move outside 🙂 I would also like to get my hands on XS, S, and M doggie sweaters. I think they will be okay today as where they will be is draft free.. but I worry about them overnight even tho they will probably be okay 🙂 doesn’t need to be new or fancy by any means… just something to keep them warm for a couple of weeks until I for sure know we are over the hump. 🙂

I can have friends/family pick up for me in McPherson and Salina. I can also head into Lindsborg to grab some. 🙂 Towels and puppy pads are my big need at the moment since they are living in my daughter’s old pack and play. Lol Feel free to share and ask around for me 🙂 thank you!

The Belgian draft mare arrived today. Her eyes are in horrific shape. 💔 after consulting with our vet, we are going to load her up on antibiotics and try to clear out as much of the infection as we can. Hopefully in a few weeks we will be able to debride her left eye and sew it closed. We are working our hardest to save her left eye so she can still have some vision 💔💔

This was most likely caused by untreated uveitis. 100% preventable.

No horse should be left to be in this condition. She has a forever home here and we will do everything we can for her ❤️🥺

We had a pleasant surprise this morning! Louisa ”bagged” up Thursday night. This morning we came out to a baby. 🙂 Momma is being protective so we will try to peek at the gender later once they’ve had time to bond!

Does anyone know of local resources that I can reach out to about supplying food to families in need? I hate wasting eggs and would love to be able to pass on ”extras” to those in need. 🙂 I know food pantries can’t take them and I already reached out to the local school district. Any advice/insight is appreciated! Located in Lindsborg, KS or surrounding areas!

There are 16 donkeys at the Peabody Kansas horse pen. Mommas and babies that appear to be tame. 💔 If anyone is looking to add some extra personality to their farm, please go save a life! ❤️ Their page will be posting the bios of the donkeys shortly.

Luisa and Maribel are doing great with letting me touch them! Luisa is suffering from pneumonia. She started to have shallow breathing this morning. I was able to get some banamine in their system and she’s had major improvement since then 🙂
