Veterinary technicians are the heart and soul of an animal hospital. We appreciate and value our technicians immensely and can not thank them enough for all of their hard work. Veterinary technicians work tirelessly and fill so many important roles in the hospital. They need to be incredibly knowledgeable about so many subjects and also be skilled at handling both pets and the humans who bring their pets in.
Vet techs are amazing and are the real heroes of an animal hospital.
As Vet Tech Appreciation Week winds down we want to thank our veterinary technicians (and all veterinary technicians !) from the bottom of our hearts not just today but every day of the year.
Please be sure to say thank you to any veterinary technicians that you may know or see. They truly deserve our thanks and so much more!

Enjoy the company of your doggo(s) at The Morton Arboretum! Please stop by and say hi to us at our table during the Tails on the Trails event this Sunday, September 10th from 9a-4p at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle! We would love to see you and your doggo(s). Price is admission plus $5/per dog. Be sure to register ahead of time on The Morton Arboretum website. The Morton Arboretum in a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of trees, climate, sustainability, and inclusion.

During Tails on the Trails events, guests can visit the on-site pet expo, which features dog-oriented shopping from vendors representing local businesses and organizations, opportunities to adopt dogs, and options to learn about volunteering at local animal shelters.

Pinto was rescued by his loving family as an orphaned kitten and bottle fed with his siblings. He is now 3 years old and such a sweet little cat. We wish Pinto and his family the very best!!!

Happy Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week!!
Veterinary technicians are the backbone of veterinary medicine and are true behind the scenes heroes. Vet techs have vast amounts of knowledge and skills in all aspects of caring for animals. They are masters of X-rays, blood draws, lab testing, anesthesia, surgery assistance, pharmacology, and so much more. In addition to their vast knowledge they also have huge hearts and are the most caring, loving, and giving people you could ever hope to know. Vet techs work tirelessly to care for our furry (and not so furry) family members. They put in long hours and give every part of their heart and soul to keep pets happy and healthy. They deserve our thanks and admiration every day but please be sure to take a moment this week to say a great big THANK YOU and WE APPRECIATE YOU to your favorite vet tech. There is no way that any animal hospital could do what they do without their vet techs.

We want to send a huge Happy Veterinary Technicians Week out to all of the vet tech staff out there and especially to the amazing crew we have here at Emergency Veterinary Services.
Our vet techs are incredible individuals who are here late nights, early mornings, weekends, holidays, and whenever problems strike in order to help save pets lives and make the world a better place. They endure long hours, lack of sleep, and physical and emotional strain in order to be there for the animals. They give 150% and keep coming back for more so that our furry family members can be safe, pain free, and happy.
We are so fortunate to have such an awesome crew here at EVS and we just want to let the world know how much we appreciate and love them!!! We could never do what we do without them. ❤️❤️❤️
